Guest Trivia247 Posted November 22, 2004 Report Posted November 22, 2004 Source: Mike Johnson of PWInsider.com] Johnny Stamboli, who was among the performers released by World Wrestling Entertainment a few weeks back in cost cutting measures, debuted today for All Japan Pro Wrestling as the new masked version of the Great Muta. Stamboli, wrestling as Muta, teamed with Love Machine Steele against Keiji Muto (the original Muta) and Osamu Nishimura as part of the promotion's Real World Tag League tournament. Stamboli had teamed with Nunzio as part of the Full Blooded Italians while working for WWE. Recently released WWE star Gail Kim posted the following message on her official website, www.lafelina.com/: Hey everyone!.... I just wanted to write a message and let everyone know that I'm okay and that I have received every one of your emails. Unfortunately, it's really hard for me to respond to every single one of them. I just want everyone to know how much I appreciate the support and concern that everyone has been showing me and how great the response has been. Everyone has been emailing me with questions, especially about what I'll be doing next.... Yes, I will still be wrestling. Keep checking my website for updates on what's coming up next for me. Kim, a standout in the Raw brand's women's division, was among the more surprising of the releases several weeks back.
Exslade ZX Posted November 22, 2004 Report Posted November 22, 2004 Yea, heard about Stamboli a few days ago...and apparently this is a pic.

That is horrible. Hey everyone!.... I just wanted to write a message and let everyone know that I'm okay and that I have received every one of your emails. She has that many fans?

Yeah, it's hard to respond to 5 emails.
Guest LooneyTune Posted November 22, 2004 Report Posted November 22, 2004 5? She probably had a hard time trying to milk 1 email.
Guest The Shadow Behind You Posted November 22, 2004 Report Posted November 22, 2004 She'd be huge in the porno industry. They are just begging to bring in the Korean demographic.
muzz Posted November 22, 2004 Report Posted November 22, 2004 omgz funniest thread everz Meh, I liked both, I hope they'll prosper.
Guest Fook_Theta Posted November 22, 2004 Report Posted November 22, 2004 I think you mean Canadian demographic... If Johnny can actually work at a young lions level Great Muta gimmick, makes you wonder just that much further about WWE booking and creative.
Mole Posted November 22, 2004 Report Posted November 22, 2004 Or maybe they are just as dumb in All Japan. I never saw talent in Johnny
TheFranchise Posted November 22, 2004 Report Posted November 22, 2004 Kim, a standout in the Raw brand's women's division I was going to make a joke about this, but it's probably true, it's that bad.
Guest wrestling365 Posted November 22, 2004 Report Posted November 22, 2004 Or maybe they are just as dumb in All Japan. I never saw talent in Johnny A good talent has a chance to overcome bad booking but great writing can’t overcome bad talent.
Open the Muggy Gate Posted November 22, 2004 Report Posted November 22, 2004 At least Stamboli is fighting a big name like Mutoh and not some scrubs on Velocity...
Guest LooneyTune Posted November 22, 2004 Report Posted November 22, 2004 Didn't Mutoh job clean to Jamal of 3 Minute Warning? If so, he lost every bit of credibility to me...OK, not that much, but jobbing to him is REALLY low.

Nevermortal Posted November 22, 2004 Report Posted November 22, 2004 Frequently, over the past year or so. Mutoh's got a HUGE boner for Jamal, Bull Buchanan, and D-Lo Brown. Jamal even got a Triple Crown Title shot against Kawada.
Guest BionicRedneck Posted November 22, 2004 Report Posted November 22, 2004 Mutoh is a fucking idiot. I thought everybody knew that by now.

Jamal even got a Triple Crown Title shot against Kawada. Which is a shame, since only one of those three has any talent. Who wants to guess which one? However, in Mutoh's defense, Stamboli is somewhat of an improvement in terms of American hosses working for All-Japan. Not much, but by tiny increments.
