Feinstein with Maximos Start New Promotion?

While reading the boards at DeathValleyDriver.com, I saw a thread wondering if Rob Feinstein would be backing the new wrestling promotion "Fusion" which is going to serve as a spotlight on the Maximo brothers, Joel and Jose, known as the "Spanish Announce Team." Feinstein had been pumping the promotion on RFVideo.com, and Fusion agreed to let Rob film the events for his company... being one of the first start-up companies to agree to work with Feinstein post March of 2004.

I was curious after their speculations, so I sent off an email to Fusion wrestling management to see if they had any comments on the speculations. I received nothing in reply until today, when Rob Feinstein emailed me the following...

It has come to my attention that you have sent Fusion a E mail about my company involvement with them. I have a copy of the letter that you wrote to them. I also have sent it to my council who wants you to call him. His name is Jeff First (215) 636-9740. Please call ASAP

Oddly enough, I hadn't received any word back from Fusion Management. What would any intelligent person think if they sent an email to unnamed "management" which resulted in the response of the exact person you were emailing about? You would assume that was actually "Fusion Management" themselves. So I went and posted the correspondence on the DeathValleyDriver.com forums.

Not more than half an hour later, the webmaster of the Fusion website wrote me to vehemently attack my doing so and my quasi-conclusion that Feinstein has to be heavily involved if emails to fusion management are being answered by him. Explaining that the Maximo's "Have no email account" and that she printed it off and handed it to them, but did not forward to Feinstein himself, we came to at least civility. Is Feinstein running Fusion? Maybe, maybe not. I can't tell you for sure. Is he heavily involved? Yep.

Why do I say that?

Well, tonight, I got a physical threat in email from Rob Feinstein.

First, let me print a picture of the person threatening me with harm. Perhaps then you may understand why I am posting his threats publicly for all to get a chuckle.

This is Rob Feinstein

Did you send this to my friends at Fusion? I am telling you right now end this with me. I have all of your personal information from your real name, address to your drivers license #. This is not a game to me as you are crossing the line now. I am putting my life back together and I dont need this from you any longer. I am giving you a fair warning drop what ever intention you might have with fucking with me in the future. I am one guy that you do not want to fuck with. You did your damage with me and you cost me my company. I am advising you to leave me alone. I just want to know if you sent this to Fusion? Once again I am giving you a friendly warning not to mess with me in the future.

Yes, it's a very poor attempt at a wrestling promo, I think. The only way it could have been worse is if he would have challenged me to meet him at Viking Hall for a thumbtack match. I've certainly not seen a worse attempt at a wrestling promo in my email box. Even barely literate pedophile rednecks send me better threats. The guy who sent me the voodoo doll threat meant more to me.

I'm not a physically imposing guy, but give me a break.

I know Feinstein will read this, so here's my formal reply, as that dreck isn't worth my time to reply to in email when I can make PeeJ'ers laugh here instead.

Feinstein: I don't hate you. I didn't even mildly dislike you before you went on a wild spree of libelling Perverted-Justice.com to the "wrestling media" and anyone who would listen. You're a guy who isn't in control of himself. You need help. You need to go get some counseling. Go talk about yourself. You're a confused guy who has hung out in a non-reality world for far too long. It's affected your brain, obviously, you're delusional. You go get counseling, and you'll never hear from myself again. You'll never have an email written about RF Video to anyone by myself again. Nada. Zip. Bing. It's the same offer I give to each person we post on PeeJ. Go get yourself mental health. We'll confirm it and that's it, over. Help yourself mentally, and you help yourself in many more ways.

But...

Thinking you can threaten me? Does anyone on this planet think I would have started that website had I not the ability to look at enraged people like you and say "No. Doofus." No. Doofus. You can't threaten me. I don't sweat you or anyone we post. You think you know my address? I'm supposed to sweat that? What a lame threat. What a lamer. You remind me of Jay, in "Jay and Silent Bob Strike Back", threatening a bunch of people online randomly for their opinions. The only difference between Jay and you, is that Jason Mewes is far more physically imposing and the character in the movie actually had the balls to show up.

Grow up, get mental health, and find a life.

If this blows up anywhere close to the last situation, the promotion won't happen. Shame, I'd like to have seen another workrate based fed.

I don't know about you guys, but I don't give a fuck about Fusion because most of the roster looks terrible, not because of Feinstein's involvement. Feinstein being a kid toucher is of no concern to me.

Unless you're a 14 year old boy

Owned. I think the Maximos were the most over-rated team in recent history...why would I bother watching a promotion where they are the main attraction? (gouges eyes out)

ZING!

But seriously... another workrate fed would be cool.

Are you kidding me? Another workrate fed? There's going to be more mail being sent from that ring then a post office during the holidays.

This fed will go bankrupt before they even get to a third show.

That's two shows better than H2. :headbang:

The Fusion roster and lineup looks spectacular. I don't give a shit who's backing it. If Feinstein is backing it, then good for him - he's getting his life back together. All I know is they have a great lineup for their first show.

Yours truly, dying of laughter...

That's a hell of a card for their first show. Who knows - two years from now they might be bringing in guys like Steve Hogan and Hulk Austin!

According to this poster, Misawa will be appearing in the US for over thirty years... quite a commitment! Will he still be doing occasional appearances in the home country?

I bet half those guys don't even show up for the first show. Misawa and Ogawa especially.

Just added to the "FUSION" show, Soprano's star Frederico Castelluccio, better known to fans as Furio, the Italian hitman all the ladies want to meet.

Frederico will be signing autographs and taking pictures with all you Soprano fans. You are invited to bring anything with you that you would like Frederico to autograph or purchase his 8 X 10's at the show. Polaroids will also be available.

Admission to the "Fusion" show is required to meet Frederico.

Also appearing on the "Fusion" show, Japanese wrestling legends Misawa and Ogawa plus WWE'S Tommy Dreamer.

"Fusion" is owned and operated by the corporation of E.K. Unlimited in conjunction with Joel and Jose Maximo and the Amazing Red. "Fusion" is not associated with Rob Feinstein or his associates or with any other wrestling fed, Contrary to rumors, we are not associated with Pro Wrestling Unplugged.

In all seriousness - Misawa and Furio at one show, together? Shit, I might actually have to go to this!

Although calling Ogawa a legend may be a bit of a stretch...

It's kind of funny that the Maximos have gotten so horrible that the only work they can get is starting their own federation.

I suppose the one consolation is that we get to see Misawa elbow the piss out of the Maximo's.

"FUSION announced that Scott Hall and Sean Waltman have been added to their debut event on Friday 12/17 in Elizabeth, New Jersey. I've heard Mike Awesome may be added to the show as well. They've already got quite an interesting crew booked with Mitsuharu Misawa, Tommy Dreamer, The Maximos, Yoshinari Ogawa, The Amazing Red, Juventud Guerrera, Psicosis, and more scheduled. For ticket information, visit www.MaximoFusion.com."

I might go, if only to see Hall and Dreamer.
