Fox TV on DVD deal at Buy.com

Recommended Posts

Fox and Buy.com are offering the first seasons of quite a few TV shows on DVD at $14.99 for 11/23/2004 through 11/29/2004. This is similar to a recent promotion done at Amazon.com.

The shows involved include:

24

MASH

The Shield

Buffy The Vampire Slayer

King Of The Hill

The Simpsons

Angel

In Living Color

Millenium

Futurama

Dark Angel

Roswell

These titles are eligible for free shipping as well as a 6% discount, which is linked below.

http://www.buy.com/retail/coupon.asp?prid=...073&dcaid=17073

There is a limit of one set of a series per customer.

Considering the fandom that there is for The Shield and 24 on this board, anyone who doesn't already own them BETTER buy them now, as $14 each is an INCREDIBLE deal for the level of entertainment you're getting.

EDIT-

To clarify, these are SEASON ONE ONLY. Other seasons of these series as well as other series are all at their regular prices, although the coupon is still active.

Simpsons 1 is OK.

The first half of 24: Season 1 is the best I've ever seen.

Sheild is OK.

Futurama rocks. There are some really good episodes on Volume 1 (Mars University).

Some good deals on there.

24 season one, The Shield season one, Futurama season one, and Dark Angel season one rock IMHO.

The Simpsons and In Living Color season one are mediocre compared to what followed IMHO.

King Of The Hill, Millenium, and MASH are all average.

Haven't seen Angel or Roswell.

MASH peaked around season 3 then went into the crapper.

Dark Angel went totally into the crapper after the incredible first season ended, as they retooled the entire premise of the show for no good reason and killed the series.

The Shield?! Fuck, I'll be going on on Black Friday for sure now.

Oh, and I saw Family Guy Season 1 at Target for $15...

That's "Buy.com", KKK, NOT "Best Buy".

If you've got a credit card, you can order it now.

Damn straight.

Already had most of the sets, so I picked up Dark Angel and Roswell.

I've seen the entire first season of Dark Angel because my sister has it, although I've never seen Roswell. I hear the first season was good though.

In a month or two, I may break down and buy Buffy and Angel... I've seen Buffy seasons 1 and 2, but not the first season of Angel.

Fuck beans! I work at Target tomorrow from 4am till noon (then again at 10pm the same night)...although Best Buy's right across the street I couldn't get there in time. I want that damn 24 set, everyone goes on and on about it...and I don't know anyone that's headed that way either.

And The Shield is a must own.

I saw the Target flyer for tomorrow's sale and Family Guy and Simpsons 4 (I think) were in there for 17.77 each. I'm thinking I take a little diversion before work tomorrow....

Unless the online version of the ad is screwed up, you must be mistaken.

They have the first two seasons of South Park and Family Guy: Volume 1. I'll probably get South Park: Season 1 and Family Guy: Volume 1.

Picked up Family Guy vol 1 and Simpsons Season 4 for $17.77 each at Target this morning.

South Park was $17.77 as well, seasons 1 and 2, as was Dawson's Creek season 1. That was all that was left. I didn't see Buffy anything.

I told my step-mom about the deal with Buffy at Target last night, since it is on the top of my X-Mas list.

And I saw some Target bags today, so that is good.
