Did it ever occur to Vince that having TOO MUCH eye candy on the shows would result in people not caring about any of them? At least Christy had a few weeks to get over, but the recent parade o' poontang is sensory overload. Kind of like when you spend two hours at a strip club and by the time you leave you're more interested in what music they're playing than the girls right in front of you. Melina (the new Asian chick) looks like a transvestite. I could hear Austin Powers in my head yelling: THAT'S NOT A DIVA, THAT'S A MAN! edit: Or Hispanic chick. Is there a Spanish word for "fugly"? I find it more disturbing that Kim and Jazz were dumped in favor of these countless girls who I can't tell the difference between and look to have absolutely no viable skills beyond that of a stripper, and whose only use, ultimately, is appearing in a Divas shoot every six months. Anyway, people don't care about them not because it's too much eye candy. It's because these generally talentless broads lacking any personality or look are placed into pointless timewasting skits and segments like we saw on Raw. Of course, I wouldn't be complaining if it were just Candance. (Too bad she put on a new, less revealing, bra before the lingerie show. Those were some magnificent funbags.) Melina is otherwise known as Melina Perez. She's hispanic. In theory, Hispanic people in the western hemisphere can trace their lineage back to Native Americans, who are beleived to share common ancestry with East Asians. Hence, the similar look. That's the part that I find most entertaining to see what roles they give each one to justify their place on the show. The last one they just gave up and said "aw hell, she's a new Diva". DIVAS Unless these gals are Opera Singers in their off hours they are either Valets or Wrestlers or shameless T&A's Somehow they merged a word that has nothing to do with Wrestling at all and made it a Catagorical title that represents three functions in Modern wrestling, a Diva is Valet a Diva is a wrestler a Diva is a Stripper essentially. why the hell should I get excited to hear they hired 4 women who probably have no use in the ring and Slap on the same title on them as they do any woman be them wrestler or no. She's still working away in OVW (along with the very talented Jillian Hall) because they are "not ready" for WWE TV yet. I think the whole diva thing is beyond ridiculous, at least that Melina chick actually has wrestling experience and apparently is reasonably good in the ring, so she won't be a complete waste, but what purpose do the rest serve? If only they were to bring in some girls who not only look good, but actually have talent too. I've been saying this for ages, why they haven't signed Daizee Haze yet is a mystery to me.
