JoeDirt 0 Report post Posted December 1, 2004 -Jim Ross, a man who was SET ON FIRE by Kane, is suddenly all anti-Gene Snitsky when Snitsky beats up Kane at Taboo Tuesday, even after Kane basically raped Lita and forced her to marry him. -We're supposed to boo Kurt Angle for shaving Big Show's head, but Big Show chokeslamming Angle on concrete is forgotten. Guest The Shadow Behind You Report post Posted December 1, 2004 This monday alone. Vince McMahon overiding Randy Orton and Orton not saying a damn thing. Benoit for not declaring a forfeit on HHH last week. There's not even enough time and effort to fully explain the logic flaws.
Guest Anglesault Report post Posted December 1, 2004 This is a little deeper, but I think still valid. The days of total marks are dead. No one believes what they are watching is real anymore. Obviously, the vast majority of the fans don't know (or claim to know) the intricate details, but they still know that the matches are pre-planned and whatnot. And yet they keep expecting the fans to buy this STUPID ass "Both guys lose the battle royal at the same time" premise that they've done approximately five times in three years. The fans know it's fake. They know the end of the match is pre determined. They are going to get tired of this lazy booking, especially when it's done as poorly as it was last night, where Chris Benoit, for no reason I can fathom, just jumped off the ring apron onto the floor. Basically, fans aren't at the point anymore where they can buy the repetitive booking as "strange coicidences" and realize that the company just keeps settling on the finish. There's not even enough time and effort to fully explain the logic flaws. The one that I bolded bothered me the most, because right after the Royal, Orton wants Vince's opinoin what he would do in that situation. Vince just says that his opinoin does not matter, and it's Orton's night to run things.
MarvinisaLunatic 0 Report post Posted December 1, 2004 They went through the whole process of eliminating the Diva contestants for the $1 million, only to hire just about all of them anyway. Gee, they couldn't just save $1 million and hire them all and save us from all those weeks of torture?
Guest Anglesault Report post Posted December 1, 2004 -We're supposed to boo Kurt Angle for shaving Big Show's head, but Big Show chokeslamming Angle on concrete is forgotten. That one was just bizarre. Most of the Angle/Guerrero feud fits into this category. That wasn't logic flaws as much as just overall horrendous booking. They both did seemingly forget that Kurt cost Eddie the belt, I guess, but that was only part of the God awfulness of it all.
The Niggardly King 0 Report post Posted December 1, 2004 How involved was Patterson in deciding how a match should end? It has really seemed to even get worse now that he's gone.
Guest LooneyTune Report post Posted December 1, 2004 For a more serious post... EVERYTHING about the Kane gimmick. What gimmick has become a complete contradiction of its original self, and then semi-gone back to it's original form? Shelton Benjamin & Chris Benoit were on the opposite sides of many battles in 2003, yet now they love each other, and don't even bring up the Team Angle stuff. John Cena magically recovering from multiple stab wounds in 4 weeks and has no scars. LAME! Chavo Guerrero is suddenly friends with all the faces on SD, despite being the most hated before his injury.

There's not even enough time and effort to fully explain the logic flaws. How about the fact that Orton made the main event last week, when he wasn't even GM ? That wasn't so bad, because Orton could have been announcing what match he was going to make. It's not like he tried to make a match for Jericho's show or anything. Since no one could change his decission (Ignoring what actually happened for a minute) Making the match public wouldn't cause a problem.

Guest LooneyTune Report post Posted December 1, 2004 Weird Question: I was thinking of the Necrophillia angle...yeah, pretty lame, isn't it? Wouldn't it be funny if Kane admited to it, but then said something along the lines of "she was alive when she started but when I finished she was dead". Would've saved us time and had some comedy. MarvinisaLunatic 0 Report post Posted December 1, 2004 The Cena having no scars after supposedly being stabbed 4 weeks earlier thing is also annoying, because it shows their laziness. They could of at least made him wear a jersey or *gasp* bandage up the area and hope that the bandage didn't come off (which it probably would, but thats besides the point). Im pretty sure even under the worlds best doctor's care that there would still be a scar after a month.
EricMM 0 Report post Posted December 1, 2004 I was going to post something like, "Not signing and using heavily Samoa Joe, Spanky, London, Homicide, and American Dragon." or something like, "Despite Hurricane getting more over with an actual CHARACTER, ignoring all that and just putting people out there like Snitsky, and all the other fucking big men. Hell Bautista has never had a chance to really establish who is is except an 'animal'." But in terms of storyline... Orton being a face just because HHH kicked him out of Evolution. And people trusting him.

ChrisMWaters 0 Report post Posted December 1, 2004 Spike bossing his brothers around, even though for like 80 years they beat the piss out of him and laughed in his face. My theory on that: The Dudleys beat up on Spike because they were trying to bring out the OLD Spike...the one that they respected from their childhood. The "Bully of Dudleyville" that Heyman mentioned when he was on commentarry. It's only recently we've seen that OLD Spike come out.
JHawk 0 Report post Posted December 1, 2004 Sensational Sherri signs the contract along with Randy Savage for the WrestleMania VII retirement match, yet is managing Ted DiBiase at the next set of TV tapings even though Savage lost. And since she didn't have to retire, Sherri kicking the shit out of Savage after that loss. Made sense at the time until she showed up on TV the next week, but if she didn't lose her job.... MikeJordan23 0 Report post Posted December 1, 2004 The whole last 3 weeks have made no sense froma logical standpoint. If all these guys are the GM and want the belt of Triple H they could easily make a match where it would be impossible for Triple H to win. How hard is this "I'm the GM this week. The Match Triple H v. Me. Only way Triple H wins is if he makes me submit. Any other result, I win the title. If he gets pinned, counted out, Dq'd, Draw, I get Dq'd, counted out etc...any other result then Triple H winning by submission, I win" It's not that hard really. I understand it might make them look weak winning the title like that, but that's aside from what they want to do. From their perspective they just want to win the belt. Or just go the simple route and make one of my SS teamates the refs. anything like that would make sense. I thought the main purpose was to get the title of Triple H when they won GM privileges? SuperJerk 0 Report post Posted December 1, 2004 Chavo Guerrero is suddenly friends with all the faces on SD, despite being the most hated before his injury. Basically everytime someone turns and suddenly their buddies with all the people they just got done feuding with makes me cringe. At least when Jericho and HHH tag teamed last year they had a scene of Flair talking them into getting along, or remember scene where Benoit made nice with Benjamin when he first got to Raw? Times like that lets me know the writers are actually awake (sometimes).
Kizzo 0 Report post Posted December 1, 2004 Nothing WWE does makes sense.... This is a flaw that has hurt them for many years...they are enemies one week...two months later they are buddies..what is the explanation for THAT....their writers don't pay attention to details...they need to start setting up "storyboards" so that everything can stay on track...
