Guest LooneyTune Report post Posted December 1, 2004 Good! He deserves elimination for being a friggin' crybaby. WHAH! Don't vote for Puder! WHAH!
Youth N Asia 0 Report post Posted December 1, 2004 I fast forward the TE bits anyway, so I'd rather just read the spoiler myself
Guest Anglesault Report post Posted December 1, 2004 I just don't understand how anyone can justify keeping Justice Smith around at all. This has to be rigged. That guy, while charasmatic and "cool" (I Guess) has absolutely been awful at everything they asked him to do.
MarvinisaLunatic 0 Report post Posted December 1, 2004 Well..now Puder had better win because Reeves was the only other one left that I was liking at all.
Guest LooneyTune Report post Posted December 1, 2004 I'm sure arm wrestling, trying to tackle the Bashams, and eating pasta and milk is really required for wrestling.
Nevermortal 0 Report post Posted December 1, 2004 Here's something I've wondered about this Tough Enough: Are they being trained during the week in between the Smackdown tapings?
Guest LooneyTune Report post Posted December 1, 2004 Either that or they are taught how to kiss The Undertakers ass...wait, that probably IS a requirement.
Nevermortal 0 Report post Posted December 1, 2004 Either that or they are taught how to kiss The Undertakers ass...wait, that probably IS a requirement. Thanks, LooneyTune, I definitely wouldn't have survived without your latest post, straight out of the Smart Mark cliche book.
MarvinisaLunatic 0 Report post Posted December 1, 2004 I'm sure arm wrestling, trying to tackle the Bashams, and eating pasta and milk is really required for wrestling. Theres always an armwrestling contest at some point, except that it almost never gets finished... Tackling the Bashams might be good practice for actually having to wrestle them...on Velocity.. Eating Pasta and drinking milk...er...no idea...since 99/100 times anytime theres food or liquid involved it gets thrown or wrestled in.
The Niggardly King 0 Report post Posted December 1, 2004 My real question is how many people from this will end up in OVW?
Guest LooneyTune Report post Posted December 1, 2004 I've heard all of them (as in the 8 Finalists), which kinda makes the whole thing pointless.
JoeDirt 0 Report post Posted December 1, 2004 Here's something I've wondered about this Tough Enough: Are they being trained during the week in between the Smackdown tapings? Yes, I believe they are. Meltzer's update a few weeks ago mentioned how all the guys were coming along as far as picking up the wrestling goes.
JoeDirt 0 Report post Posted December 1, 2004 I've heard all of them (as in the 8 Finalists), which kinda makes the whole thing pointless. Not to the guy that gets a million. But yeah, like the Diva Search it doesn't matter who wins. They'll all get jobs if they show enough promise.
The Niggardly King 0 Report post Posted December 1, 2004 I've heard all of them (as in the 8 Finalists), which kinda makes the whole thing pointless. Wow...the only ones I can see ever doing anything from this whole thing is Puder, Miz, Rodimer, and Justice.
ChrisMWaters 0 Report post Posted December 1, 2004 If Puder DOES win, I can SO see this happening: "Here are your winners, and the NEEEEWWW WWE Tag Team Champions...Daniel Puder and Ken...Shamrock!" ...and before you say it can't happen...remember this is the company that brought VISCERA back. Guest LooneyTune Report post Posted December 1, 2004 "Here are your winners, and the NEEEEWWW WWE Tag Team Champions...Daniel Puder and Ken...Shamrock!" (screams like a woman) ...and before you say it can't happen...remember this is the company that brought VISCERA back. (cries like a bitch)
Kahran Ramsus 0 Report post Posted December 1, 2004 Why is Miz still there? He sucks at everything they've done.
ChrisMWaters 0 Report post Posted December 1, 2004 Why is Miz still there? He sucks at everything they've done. The MTV fan vote. Or, if it's rigged, the MTV Star Power.
Mecha Mummy 0 Report post Posted December 1, 2004 Why is Miz still there? He sucks at everything they've done. He's the only one with any name recognition pre-Tough Enough since he was on Real World and all. He's also, to my knowledge, the only one with any wrestling training pre-Tough Enough. Of course, none of that matters in arm wrestling competitions and contests of "Who can kiss Mae Young the best?"
Lord of The Curry 0 Report post Posted December 1, 2004 Justice might be around because of *ahem*, the UPN influence.
Fökai 0 Report post Posted December 1, 2004 Why is Miz still there? He sucks at everything they've done. He's the most experienced of them all. I'd expect him to win, just because he can go out and work house shows and tapings as soon as possible.
Celtic Jobber 0 Report post Posted December 1, 2004 I've never heard of Mike "the Miz" before Tough Enough. I don't see how he could have enough "star power" to have outlasted people with actual potential such as Rodimer. Is Read World really that popular?
Black Lushus 0 Report post Posted December 1, 2004 well i don't know about the "Read" World, but he's one of the most popular REAL World characters and has been on every single installment of the Challenges and a top competitor every time (with the exception of the current season) so, there you go...plus he's been training for wrestling for several years now so it's not like he DOESN'T sorta know what to do in the ring as opposed to the others... Puder is the only one likely to put on a decent match but he lacks charisma...so that means they'll give him some lame gimmick requiring charisma rather than just making him a bad ass that beats the shit out of people... Justice has the look, that's all he has going for him, otherwise he's another worthless hoss...
Spaceman Spiff 0 Report post Posted December 1, 2004 I've never heard of Mike "the Miz" before Tough Enough. I don't see how he could have enough "star power" to have outlasted people with actual potential such as Rodimer. Is Read World really that popular? Well, he was the most over guy when they 1st appeared on TV, due largely to his MTV exposure. He's been surpassed by Puder since then, but you can't deny he has a following. Guest whitemilesdavis Report post Posted December 1, 2004 Miz is the only guy at all comfortable on the mic. Puder cuts the worst promos I've ever heard. I'd also venture to guess Miz is head and shoulders above the rest in ring work, too.
claydude14 0 Report post Posted December 1, 2004 Justice might be around because of *ahem*, the UPN influence. Justice got the 2nd biggest pop behind Puder when I went to Smackdown! last week...
Guest LooneyTune Report post Posted December 1, 2004 Shamrock couldn't cut a promo to save his life, but he was still pretty darn over. Promo Skills doesn't always equal success. Look at every generic hoss in the last 10 years. How many of them can cut a good promo? Hell, name 6 people NOW who can cut a good promo that's not 30 seconds long. Bret Hart, probably the best worker in the WWF during his time, cut some pretty bland promos. Sure, they got the point across usually, but you'll never see anyone praise his promos before his 1997 heel turn or make a comp. tape.
Youth N Asia 0 Report post Posted December 1, 2004 Isn't Real World already on like 8 hours a day anyway? The guy can't talk to save his life, and I once watched his Miz bit on Road Rules or something, it was embarassingly bad. Justice just looks like he should be good, but when if it comes down to him and Puder you gotta vote for Puder I'd think.

Bret Hart and Ken Shamrock are infinitely better talkers than Puder. His promos have honestly been the worst I've ever heard, including indies, retards, anything. Plus, you knew Bret and Shamrock could work, and you don't have that guarantee with Puder.
