What's everyone's favourite and least favourite jerseys in the 4 major pro sports? This is from the beginning of each league to present day:

 

Favs:

Football: Edmonton Eskimos. (Very similar to the Green Bay Packers.)

Basketball: Celtics. Any era.

Baseball: Yankees away grey, 1991 Blue Jays, Any Tigers jersey.

Hockey: Any Hab jersey, 96 Canucks away: the circular logo with the orange on the top half of the jersey, then a quarter red and a quarter black.

 

Least Favourites:

 

Football: Baltimore Ravens.

Basketball: Miami Heat current, Raptors debut jersey.

Baseball: 70's/80's Astros, Yankee pinstripes. (Honest!)

Hockey: Colorado Rockies, Debut away Anaheim.

NHL: Montreal Canadiens, Detroit Red Wings, Winnipeg Jets, old-school Sabres jersey

MLB: Yankees, Red Sox, Cubs, 91 Jays, Twins, Mariners.

NBA: Miami Heat, Dallas Mavericks, Minnesota Timberwolves.

NFL: Seahwaks, Packers, Bills home jersey, Eagles, Black Saints jersey.

Soccer: Celtic FC, Chelsea.

 

Least:

 

NHL: Bruins third jersey, Nashvilles third jersey, Kings 95 jersey, Sabres jerseys.

MLB: Arizona, Blue Jays, Texas, Florida.

NBA: Any team with the retro look from the eighties, and the Knicks.

NFL: Bills away jersey, Colts, Dolphins, Rams, Bengals home jersey.

Soccer: Manchester City, Aston Villa, Juventus.

Favorites:

 

NHL: the royal/yellow Sabres jersey is my favorite "old school" NHL jersey ever. I also love the Red Wings, Wild, Bruins and Panthers whites.

MLB: Red Sox home, Yanks road, Marlins black.

NBA: Celtics white

NFL: Patriots silver (are they wearing these this season?)

 

Least Favorites:

 

NHL: Capitals (horrid color scheme), Bruins, Thrashers and Stars thirds. Dallas's third looks like a giant vagina. Of course, the way they play, that might be an accurate logo...

MLB: Twins dark jerseys with pinstriped pants, Marlins pinstriped

NBA: Charlotte Bobcats. They look like WNBA jerseys.

NFL: Dolphins orange.

LA Kings 3rd Jersey, Dallas Stars Dark Jersey, NY Rangers 3rd, Edmontion's in the 80's

 

 

Hockey bad:

 

Anaheim's 1st 3rd Jersey, well all 3rd jersey except for the ones listed above.

the Giants should NEVER go with the alternate red jersies...

I don't know what I think of the Broncos orange. It's a lot better than the orange the Fins use sometimes.

 

But third jerseys tend to not be so great in the NFL. Same with the throwbacks except for the Chargers who should go back to the blue.

Well, my favorites:

 

MLB: Both Home/Road Yankee Jerseys, Oakland A's green top, Cleveland's home, Cardinals home.

 

NBA: Both Home/Away Knick Jerseys, Dallas home/road (not including the p-diddy disaster), Miami away black, Denver away.

 

NFL: All the Jet Unis (dark green top with white tights, dark green top with dark green tights, light green top with light green tights, white top with dark green tights, and white top with light green tights), Falcons black, Chargers light blue alternatives, Seahawks home (dark), Panthers home (dark), and Lions blue top.

My favorite jersey of all time is the Phillies road jerseys from the 80's.

 

As far as current times, I don't like any of the obvious attempts by NFL teams to sell more jersey's to idiots, like the ones who will see the Giants play in those atrocious Red things and have to have one.

Kinda on the same subject but in a different direction, I absolutely can not stand it when I see people wearing college (or pros, although I can't think of one right now) t-shirts that are different colors then the school colors. I have seen red, pink, baby blue, and FUCKING YELLOW Michigan State t-shirts. What the hell are those people thinking???

Favorites:

MLB: Florida Marlins' Alternative Black top. I kinda liked their expansion colors (the wussy teal) too. Also the old Pittsburgh Pirates uniform with the black and yellow striped cap. The Yankees pin-striples are nice and traditional.

 

NBA: The Bulls alternate black with red/white stripes. A lot cooler than the plain red. I liked the Vancouver Grizzlies' jereseys when it was Vancouver, because I hate reading "MEMPHIS" in a NBA game.

 

NHL: Hmmm...been so long since I've seen them. I liked the old Quebec Nordiques jersey, as well as the traditional New York Rangers one, and the old Devils jerseys with the green instead of black were quite nice. San Jose Sharks jersesy period, because they look nice.

 

NFL: Bengals black jersey and the old Tampa Bay Buccaneers bright orange/white ones, mainly for kicks.

 

Absolutely Hate:

MLB: Milwaukee Brewers old jersey never did anything for me, as well as the Kansas City Royals. Too boring looking. those disgusting "Future Look" jerseys teams wore at the time of the turn of the new Millenium.

 

NBA: The Old, The Older, and the New Denver Nuggets jerseys. Just fucking UGLY. Also the 76ers jersey they had for like 1 year in 1993.

 

NHL: Hated Hated Hated HATED the New York Rangers jersey with the statue of Liberty. Blech!

 

NFL: Nothing really stands out...except those horrible uniforms for the Thanksgiving Game between Detroit and Indianapolis, Mainly for the Lions though. Colts I got confused with something else.

Yeah because the Indy jerseys for this years Thanksgiving game are so different than their current jerseys...? The only really noticeable differences were the black shoes and gray face mask.
