Lightning Flik Posted December 4, 2004 Report Posted December 4, 2004 Considering I'm also 9-2 and do the same, there is some proof that the PMing picks idea works out well.

Guest Vitamin X Posted December 4, 2004 Report Posted December 4, 2004 Considering I'm also 9-2 and do the same, there is some proof that the PMing picks idea works out well. I also have consistently PM'ed my picks every week. So that's the 3 best teams in the league right there. I think we see a trend here. EDIT: I've actually posted my picks in the thread before, and I'm 0-2 doing so, the only other loss coming at the hands of Agent in Week 2.

CanadianChris Posted December 4, 2004 Report Posted December 4, 2004 Considering I'm also 9-2 and do the same, there is some proof that the PMing picks idea works out well. I PM my picks just about every week, and I'm 5-6.
Guest The Winter Of My Discontent Posted December 4, 2004 Report Posted December 4, 2004 ...I cared my first few weeks, and I lost. Now I just pick teams I like, and I'm winning. Its bound to blow up in my face.

Guest Cerebus Posted December 5, 2004 Report Posted December 5, 2004 How does Washington blow out the Giants? Who does that?
kkktookmybabyaway Posted December 5, 2004 Author Report Posted December 5, 2004 Tampa Bay is favored by 3.5 over Atlanta. Why? Because it's at TB. So, would you like me to laugh at you now or wait until later?...

CanadianChris Posted December 6, 2004 Report Posted December 6, 2004 EIGHT WINS IN A FREAKING ROW!!! 10-2!!! I AM AWESOME! Meh. Let's see you make picks outdoors in the middle of January. Then I'll be impressed.
Cartman Posted December 6, 2004 Report Posted December 6, 2004 At this time I would like to give a big SHOUTOUT to by boys VX and Rant for taking care of my competition for me. If I win I will be up by 2 games (of course this depends on Jax and Dallas...)
kkktookmybabyaway Posted December 6, 2004 Author Report Posted December 6, 2004 Thank Rant's Emergency Picks...
Chuck Woolery Posted December 6, 2004 Report Posted December 6, 2004 I demand new power rankings. Preferably ones that don't list me or NoCalMike as "Bottom of the Barrel" teams, if that's possible.
Vern Gagne Posted December 6, 2004 Report Posted December 6, 2004 How in the hell do you score only 16 points against San Fran. at home?
CanadianChris Posted December 6, 2004 Report Posted December 6, 2004 Well, I think it's official -- I hold all the tiebreakers in the AFC West. Now I just have to make up that pesky one-game deficit.
Guest Cerebus Posted December 6, 2004 Report Posted December 6, 2004 Who knew that Washington was going to rape the Giants with a red hot poker?
Vern Gagne Posted December 6, 2004 Report Posted December 6, 2004 Who know the Bengals would end their 14 year road lossing streak against winning teams? Who know Chad Hutchensen was Sammy Baugh?
Guest The Winter Of My Discontent Posted December 6, 2004 Report Posted December 6, 2004 Son of a bitch, I lost.
kkktookmybabyaway Posted December 6, 2004 Author Report Posted December 6, 2004 Well, I think it's official -- I hold all the tiebreakers in the AFC West. Now I just have to make up that pesky one-game deficit. I think Banky has the series lead over you 1-0, but I left my scoresheets at work Friday and won't be able to verify this until Monday. (He beat you last week, but I'm not sure if you two played earlier in the season and I may have made a mistake in posting your Div. records. I doubt I did though.) Guest Vitamin X Posted December 6, 2004 Report Posted December 6, 2004 I take bittersweet solace in winning this week. Seeing Gagne go down to 9-3 was good, though. Now I just have to hope Flik loses a game or two soon, and keep my pace up and everything will be swell. On a sidenote, I'm curious to know what the closest is anyone has ever come to having a completely perfect week in terms of making picks?
Lightning Flik Posted December 6, 2004 Report Posted December 6, 2004 I am finally the best in the league. If I remain best in the league, my mission will be complete for the season, regardless if I win in the post season or not.
Guest Vitamin X Posted December 6, 2004 Report Posted December 6, 2004 I take solace in also knowing that I was the last undefeated team to go down. Lightning Flik's like the Philadelphia Eagles of this league. The PF-PA ratio is incredible. EDIT: Wait, nevermind. I forgot I lost to Agent in Week 2. Fuck. This NFL season is really taking its toll on me. If God really hated me, he'd have the Minnesota Vikings come back and win the Super Bowl.
