Is there a revolution on our hands?

There's not enough mentions of Bright Eyes to be Pitchfork.

I don't think they like Bright Eyes, actually.

Who does like Bright Eyes?

K.

They love him.

Eh, that's not so bad. They don't really love it until they get into the 8.5+ and start writing really long reviews that have nothing to do with anything. You should see what they did to Pavement and Trail of Dead.

Anyway, we're losing focus here.

y2jailbait, you never disputed the claim that you sleep with dirty old men. You also never disputed that your parents are ashamed of you.

You bastard....

And if I do, that's my personal preference...

No one gets after you and Banky's teabagging fetish.

For JYSK and Banky only....

I suppose this makes you the victor now, doesn't it?

Pattern of 90% of Incandenza posts in the music folder:

Insert lame insult + ridiculous "pitchforkmedia-approved indie" opinion - any form of decent conversational skills = Incandenza's post!

1) Arcade Fire - Funeral

2) Interpol - Antics

3) Iron and Wine - Our Endless Numbered Days

4) Franz Ferdinand - Franz Ferdinand

5) Tie: Kayne West - College Dropout and Mos Def - The New Danger

6) Morrissey - You Are The Quarry

7) Viva Voce - The Heat Can Melt Your Brain

8) Pixies - Lincoln, Nebraska bootleg (come on, I'm struggling here)

9) Danger Mouse and Jemini - Ghetto Pop Life

10) Modest Mouse - Good News.......(Man, I'm gonna get burned on that one).

Let's see....

Arcade Fire: Pitchfork rating? 9.7

Iron and Wine: Pitchfork rating? 8.6

Franz Ferdinand: Pitchfork rating? 9.1

Kanye West: Pitchfork rating? 8.2

Mos Def: Pitchfork rating? 5.4 (you lucked out there)

Morrissey: Pitchfork rating? 8.9

Viva Voce: Pitchfork rating? 7.6

Pixies: Not on Pitchfork. OMG, you scooped Pitchfork, you scenester, you.

Danger Mouse and Jemini: 7.8

Modest Mouse: 7.9

You've already got that "lame insult" part down, and you're averaging a 7.32 on the Pitchfork scale. But you're not preaching that "pitchfork approved indie", not one bit. No sir.

Again, I suggest that you die. Theoretically.

Good albums are good album man, Pitchfork approved or not.

I tend to resent most Pitchfork opinion, but with those albums, it's clear throughout all music communities, magazines and critics that these were standout albums.

I'm still waiting for the enlightened musical selections of JSYK and Banky.

In the words of Issac Brock, I wouldn't my breath.

I don't claim to be a music "expert", unlike some people. I like things for reasons other than what "online communities and critics" have to say about them.

Back on track.

Seriously. You have sex with disgusting old men.

Then what the hell am I wasting my time in here for?

I tend to try to communicate with people who actually have something enlightening to say.

I enjoy music that I can relate to. Just because some scenester twat says that it's good, it doesn't automatically mean that it's vastly superior to everything else. Unfortunately for you, you seem to have missed that point, because, as it turns out, you're a scenester twat.

Ryan Adams. The Beta Band. Elliot Smith. Bob Dylan. Elvis Costello. Jeff Buckley.

That's the type of music I enjoy. Music that speaks to my soul, not music that feeds my ego so that I can sit around a coffee shop with my cliche indie kid friends and talk about how the latest !!! release just didn't match up to their previous work. Please regale me with tales of Q and Not U. I'd love to hear how they match up against The Shins on a scale of indie nerdness. You have terrible taste in music because you insist on liking what you're told to like, all the while pretending to be rebellious because you "tend not to agree with Pitchfork". Don't even fucking read Pitchfork then, twat.

I like Bongo Fury best on that list, but there's a lot I haven't heard there. Neu! interests me for some reason, I think.

By the way, Horses was probably the best of those albums. I don't really approve of this thread, though.

Excuse me we'll I masterbate
