Heat spoilers, dark matches, and notes

Recommended Posts

From WrestlingObserver.com

Dark Match:

"The Masterpiece" Chris Masters p. CW Anderson (they billed him from

Charlotte) with the fisherman's suplex (Masterplex?)

Dark Match or Heat squash, don't know which:

Gene Snitsky p. Maurice ? (African American, wore Carolina blue tights

and boots, didn't catch the last night over WWE's muffled speakers)

Heat:

Rhyno p. Sylvan Grenier (got the most heat of the... Heat matches)

Val Venis p. Steven Richards

Rob Conway p. Tajiri (best Heat match)

Post-show: Lita continued to celebrate, that's about it.

NOTES:

*Approximately 2,000 seats on the camera side were tarped off,

however, they did have to open up a section of about 100 seats to

accomodate everyone. That in itself may sound good, until I counted

that the rest of Independence Arena, with the RAW setup and those

tarped-off seats, was seating an absolute maximum of 5,000, maybe more

in the 4,500 range.

*I'm presuming that the ECW DVD was doing steady business at the

gimmick stands, only because there were 4 sold in the minute-change I

was on line to get my own copy.

*After the Edge/Orton segment went to break, Orton ran back to the

ring and RKO'd Edge, posed on the ramp for the pop, etc.

*Gotta love Vince, coming out with Big Goldie on his shoulder smack in

the middle of old Crockett country.

*The Desire, as always, played at the beginning of the show. UT, Rock,

and Austin got the loudest pops, Flair of course got the "Wooo!". Next

biggest pops, but a level down from the top 3, were for Benoit and

Bret.

That just feels...wrong.

Coincidence... I think not!

Too bad this is International Heat, thanks to Armageddon this weekend. Val/Richards and Tajiri/Conway had potential to be entertaining.

it was him?? I saw him having a real wild match with a guy on one of their TV shows. I mean real wild, like backyard meets ECW by way of OMEGA wild.
