I know some on this board have expressed interest in this flick, and I just wanted to let you guys know that A and E has a documentary on the subject. I haven't seen it yet, but I've heard it includes interviews with most of the real people.

"AMERICAN JUSTICE®

Payback for a Bully

At age 20, Bobby Kent appeared to have everything going for him: popular, athletic and a good student, he took a job out of high school and was trying to start his own business.

But things were not all they appear beneath the clean-cut, all-American veneer. On one hot July night, Bobby headed out with Marty and six friends, never to return. What happened later was no mystery as all seven, including Marty and Bobby's ex-girlfriend, confessed to his murder, claiming that Bobby was a ruthless bully who could not be stopped any other way. The jury disagreed and found all seven guilty of first or second degree murder. Gripping interviews with prosecution and defense attorneys and Bobby’s ex-girlfriend take a closer look at this headline case. cc"

It's on A and E on Tuesday afternoon at 1 PM and 7 PM Eastern.

I've seen it. It's pretty good......but if you want to learn more you can pick up the book written by Jim Schutze called Bully: A True Story of High School Revenge. It's very good and it let's you in on the entire story that the documentary and film leave out.

Sounds interesting. I'm into these kinds of things and will probably catch it if I remember what channel A&E is.

Actually I found it kind of boring. The only two on the special were Lisa Connelly (Marty's Girlfriend) and Ali Willis (The one was fucked Bobby but was Donnie's girlfriend). They showed the same footage over and over, and the show repeated itself alot.

A big let down.

:D yeah the dark haired chick that got knocked up...Brad Renfro played Nick Stahl's (Bobby the bully) best friend Marty...

EDIT: which reminds me, did they ever establish who's child she gave birth to? Marty's or Bobby's?

Maybe he means how all of the actresses were much hotter then the real people they were portraying, and how Nick Stahl is a skinny white boy but the real Bobby Kent was a 240 lb, muscular Iranian.

Otherwise, I loved the performances of Leo Fitzpatrick (Hitman), Nick Stahl (Bobby Kent), Bijou Philips (Ali Willis), and Michael Pitt (Donny Semenec).

that was the best scene in the whole movie...he walks in on them fucking, slaps the shit outta her with his weight belt and punches marty in the dome...

Here's something I have a question about. During that love-making scene, and a few other times as well, the bully kid looks at himself in the mirror and spits on it. What was that all about.

Oh, yeah, spoilers and stuff...

A lot of the criticisms of this movie can also be applied to the movie "Boys Don't Cry" I mean watching Cloe Sevigny getting naked and rammed by Hillary Swank is a whole lot sexier then if we all had to sit through the sight of people that looked similar to the real folks, doing it.

Cause he was a self hating homosexual. That was the whole reason behind his awful behavior.
