It's not like a taped Raw is unheard of. Cause HHH and Flair are afraid they'll be shot? Plus, both years in a row, Smackdown was closer to Christmas date-wise than Raw. Another good point mentioned above about half the roster was not even there. Therefore once again, not everything posted on the internet should be believed.
