Nevermortal Posted December 23, 2004 Report Posted December 23, 2004 Do I need a passport to fly into Canada? (Note - Providence, RI / Boston, MA, USA to Vancouver, BC, CA)
KingPK Posted December 23, 2004 Report Posted December 23, 2004 You don't need it driving there, so I can't see why you'd need it flying. Probably just your ID to get through customs.
Nevermortal Posted December 23, 2004 Author Report Posted December 23, 2004 Wear a turban. I was thinking of going with more of a retro Symbionese Liberation Army look.
CanadianChick Posted December 23, 2004 Report Posted December 23, 2004 Well, you don't need one going from Canada to the US, so I assume it's the same vice versa.
Red Baron Posted December 23, 2004 Report Posted December 23, 2004 No, but its best to have one just incase they are going to be anal about your business.
Guest Phenom Posted December 23, 2004 Report Posted December 23, 2004 Don't bring any liquour or guns in and you're OK.
Highland Posted December 23, 2004 Report Posted December 23, 2004 If you have a passport, bring it. Otherwise your Birth Certificate and a picture id (drivers license) will do.
Nighthawk Posted December 23, 2004 Report Posted December 23, 2004 It's always a good idea to bring guns on an airplane.
Guest Failed Mascot Posted December 23, 2004 Report Posted December 23, 2004 Supposedly its cheaper to fly out of Rhode Island than it is Logan airport. Thought you may wanna know that.
C Dubya 04 Posted December 23, 2004 Report Posted December 23, 2004 Last time I flew to Canada, they said that I needed a passport, and I did have to show it at customs. It's a good idea to take it just in case.
CanadianChris Posted December 23, 2004 Report Posted December 23, 2004 Definitely bring one. They've cracked down on air crossings aince 9/11. It's not worth the hassle. Hell, I bring mine on domestic flights nowadays.
