I hated the flair cover , becuase they put that stupid cd /dvd plastic label on the top and I tried to slowly pull it off, but it ripped off the cheap cardboard and kinda ruined it. I had to tape the label back on in the front and back so it would look ok

I just bought wm xix(the last copy at my best buy) and when it opened , disc 1 was out of its spot and was floating freely inside, causing some minor scratches but it didnt ruin it thank god. damn you best buy

wm xx was cool since they put no label on the top thank god although it does show off fingerprints in certain lights

my fav dvds are

1.chris benoit

2.eddie

3.flair

4.ecw

5. bloodbath

as for the logo blurring, is it really n ecesaary? is the fund going to sue vince if he shows it on archival videos ? I wish he could make a settlement regarding videos (ie being able to say wwf and the attitude logo as long as it wasnt mentioned on the cover art )

oh well

I think its just a matter of the WWF Attitude scratch logo being what finally pissed off the panda people enough to sue. They don't want to go down that road again since they got trounced in court so they take no chances.

The scratch logo broke their agreement as well as marking themselves as WWF around the world when the agreement prohibits it. The block logo had been around for years before the whole thing started, which is why they are allowed to still use it on archived tapes.

I've seen and own just about every major WWE DVD, aside from Eddie's. My favorite by far is Foley's... Which probably has the best collection of matches and promos of any WWE DVD(yes, including Flair's and it's collection of *************** "classics").

I would rank the top 5 WWE DVD's(that I've seen) like this...

1. Mick Foley's Greatest Hits and Misses

2. Hard Knocks: The Chris Benoit story

3. The Rise and Fall of ECW

4. Ultimate Ric Flair Collection

5. Hulk Still Rules

Problems with The Rock and Kurt Angle: Almost all of their matches came under the "Attitude Days". This is more crippling for the Rock, which means blurr-a-mania running wild non-stop. At least Angle has been active (kinda) for the last 2 years so they could use some stuff without worries of the "WWF" shit.

The blurring of logos isn't a problem for them. What's the big problem is how often the actual initials "WWF" are mentioned. I recently watched the X-7 Rock-Austin match, and I lost count on how many times JR and Heyman said "WWF". That's the big problem with reproducing THAT match (as an example).

Well if they can remove half of a two man announce team from WCW matches, it shouldn't be a problem to fix a few WWF's.

JR and Heyman are still around, they could probably re-record the commentary if they needed to.

They seem to have got less obtrusive with the blurring too, I remember back when they started doing it they blurred damn near everything in the frame but the wrestlers. They figured out how to minimalize the blurring so I usually don't even notice it unless the match goes outside and they have to blur the whole ring apron because they had a WWF.com thing on it.

Maybe it's just me because I'm an emotional baby...but...when Benoit's DVD covers the whole Owen thing, I couldn't help but tear up....I mean...he doesn't give the usual "I miss Owen" crap...you can tell he really cared about the man and his family, and that him choking up is something he really felt...
