The Czech Republic 0 Report post Posted December 26, 2004 We got a fair dusting this morning, maybe about an inch. The last few years, I think it's been pretty mild for December around Chicago. (And yeah I remember '98.) But still, we haven't had a great deal of snow in what seems like forever. Chicago used to get more blizzards than a Dairy Queen clerk abusing his employee discount, but New Year's Eve has been in the high 40s two years running. Sideburnious 0 Report post Posted December 26, 2004 We got about 3cms of snow, which for Ireland is pretty good as usually there isnt the sight of snow at any time of the year, unless its a freak occurance. So a white christmas? yes and no. Snow falling from the sky but melting a few hours later.
Astro101 0 Report post Posted December 26, 2004 It snowed last night in Houston for an hour or two. People were making such a big deal on the news, and rightfully so. Texas snow...it's wonderful. I had to go out and take pics just because it was so rare.
Guest Agent of Oblivion Report post Posted December 26, 2004 It's rainy in Jacksonville, too, but much colder: 45 degrees. Including windchill, it's 40. Tropical heatwave...the temperature's risin', and it ain't surprisin'...

the max 0 Report post Posted December 26, 2004 If we had a white christmas, I think everyone would know about it. How warm is it over there by Ft. Meyers/Naples? I'm still in disbelief that South Florida (or at least Miami) is the only part of the country where we can actually go out in shorts and a tanktop for christmas. It's seriously that warm over here. It wasn't even this bad in California, where the temperatures are around the 50's right now. Yesterday was in the 50's before it started raining. I had to go out to my gal's car in the middle of the rain and it felt like ice water, so I think it got colder than 50. Â I was kind of cold all day.
geniusMoment 0 Report post Posted December 26, 2004 We got 13 inches of snow in cincy, from wednesday morning to thursday morning, it is now Sunday and they have not even plowed the street my house is on once. Hell, I-75 south, going into Kentucky was still covered with giant chunks of ice and snow last night. This city is so fucking incompetent. Other cities get 13 inches of snow and it is totally clear the next day, in Cincy you better hope for a warmup, because everyone in this city is a fucking retard. Eclipse 0 Report post Posted December 26, 2004 I live in North Bergen, NJ, very close to NYC. We had a White Christmas a couple of years ago, not sure when.
Guest Nanks Report post Posted December 26, 2004 Well we obviously don't get White Christmases in Australia, being summer and all, but I did have a White Christmas last year when I was living in Whistler (B.C, Canada). It was snowing on Christmas morning and we skiied powder all day.
TheDevilAndGodAreRagingInsideMe 0 Report post Posted December 27, 2004 One of the coolest Christmas moments ever was two years ago at my uncle's Central Park West apartment, looking out into the park at the falling snow (It must have been at least a foot to a foot and a half that day)

My most vivid memory of it is being high and getting lost in some godforsaken neighborhood called Over the Rhine.
