MrRant Posted December 26, 2004 Report Posted December 26, 2004 Oh how I love the money made on people's pain and suffering. I may have to at least Tivo the first episode. "After a lifetime of separation, does the bond between parent and child remain? A reunion show like no other, WHO’S YOUR DADDY? provides a woman, who was given up for adoption as an infant, with an extraordinary opportunity to meet the birth father who also has been searching for her. But wait, there’s a twist. Before meeting her dad, the young woman will be presented with eight men, all claiming to be her father, and she must determine which one really is. And to keep her real dad from revealing himself from the start, there is $100,000 at stake for his daughter. She will have opportunities to interview and observe the men, narrowing the field. If she guesses right, the prize will be hers. If she guesses wrong, the imposter will win the money. Either way, daughter and father will be reunited on the dramatic and emotional special WHO’S YOUR DADDY? airing Mon., Jan. 3 (8:00-9:30 PM ET/PT) on FOX. (WYD-101) (TV-PG) CC"
TheDevilAndGodAreRagingInsideMe Posted December 27, 2004 Report Posted December 27, 2004 I thought it was only a one-epidsode thing, but I could be wrong. Hey, speaking of awful Fox reality shows, did the abysmal Rebel Billionaire make it past the first episode? I haven't seen a single commercial for it since.
Spaceman Spiff Posted December 27, 2004 Report Posted December 27, 2004 The only way I would watch this would be if this guy showed up: "No, *I* am your father."
Guest Failed Mascot Posted December 27, 2004 Report Posted December 27, 2004 They should have found a girl who was adopted and liked older men. From there do a Joe Schmoe 2 type deal except you make the daughter and father fall in love with one another before breaking it to them that they are father and daughter. C'mon Fox, you can do it!
razazteca Posted December 27, 2004 Report Posted December 27, 2004 The only way I would watch this would be if this guy showed up: "No, *I* am your father." The test results state that Darth Vader is not the Baby's Daddy!
Guest Crazy Dan Posted December 27, 2004 Report Posted December 27, 2004 Well this Reality TV thing just shows you how TV still has not reached the bottom of the sludge barrell. I mean don't we get this in daytime talk shows? This is just too much for me, but I avoid all reality TV, so I hope it just bombs and goes away.
Placebo Effect Posted December 27, 2004 Report Posted December 27, 2004 I thought it was only a one-epidsode thing, but I could be wrong. Hey, speaking of awful Fox reality shows, did the abysmal Rebel Billionaire make it past the first episode? I haven't seen a single commercial for it since. Season finale is the second week of January.
