RavishingRickRudo 0 Report post Posted December 30, 2004 Alright, who is going? Curry and I was talking about this, while watching the Rise and Fall of ECW DVD -specifically the Al Snow part-, and the idea came up of bringing toy babies to the show and throwing them in the ring when Snitsky is wrestling ala the ECW fans throwing in Head. Of course, it would be impossible to recreate the effect of the first one, but it's something to think about. We got about 3 weeks to formulate a plan
Guest The Shadow Behind You Report post Posted December 30, 2004 Security wouldn't even allow you to bring them into the venue anyways. Don't waste your time with the effort. The difference was Paul Heyman BROUGHT those heads and passed them around to the small crowd of roughly 1000. Vince isn't going to purchase 20k+ dolls... RavishingRickRudo 0 Report post Posted December 30, 2004 ... So you're NOT going? There are many ways to trick security if you are "caught". "It's for my daughter", "I have a psychological attachment to it" "Here's a 20.." etc. OR would could go the more cost-effective and simpler route and just bring coat-hangers. Vince has wasted more money or worse things, btw.
geniusMoment 0 Report post Posted December 30, 2004 Tom Green already did the baby throwing gimmick, remember the Cutlass Sierra.
Guest Fook Report post Posted December 30, 2004 What if Snitsky isn't there?
RavishingRickRudo 0 Report post Posted December 30, 2004 Then there's Lita The Raw in Toronto show is actually well-placed. It's wedged inbetween the NYR fallout and the RR hype show. ... and am I to assume that you are all not going?
Dark Age 0 Report post Posted December 30, 2004 Wait. You and Curry actually KNOW each other?!? IN REAL LIFE?!? Anyway, I'd go. But it's Raw. And I don't live in Canada. I live in England. I'm not going. I guess you guys aren't going now? Because I'm not going? Right?
geniusMoment 0 Report post Posted December 31, 2004 I was coming up from Cincy, but since Dark Age is not going, screw it.
Naked Snake 0 Report post Posted December 31, 2004 I'm debating about hitting this up. Probably will.
Dark Age 0 Report post Posted December 31, 2004 I was coming up from Cincy, but since Dark Age is not going, screw it. Damn right. Maybe y'all can chip in and fly me over? It just WOULDN'T be right without your old pal Dark Age at the show.
RavishingRickRudo 0 Report post Posted December 31, 2004 Oh Jesus fucking Christ guys... ... Dark Age isn't coming?? *Rips up ticket*
Dark Age 0 Report post Posted December 31, 2004 Eh, it's OK. I'll be there - IN SPIRIT.
cbacon 0 Report post Posted December 31, 2004 I'd go, but the only thing that interests me about this show is the reaction Hassan will recieve. That, and the post-holiday money issues that I really should watch.
Matt Young 0 Report post Posted December 31, 2004 Security wouldn't even allow you to bring them into the venue anyways. Don't waste your time with the effort. The difference was Paul Heyman BROUGHT those heads and passed them around to the small crowd of roughly 1000. Vince isn't going to purchase 20k+ dolls... Security's not that tight. They'll take away "offensive" signs if they get on camera, but otherwise you should be safe. Back at a WCW Thunder taping in 2000, 2 days after the Great American Bash (it was when Bagwell was arrested) I wore my Slapnuts shirt and brough a fucking acoustic guitar to show my support for Jeff Jarrett and they didn't say anything. I know that was WCW, but the WWE security has been even more lax it seems at the 3 events I went to this year.
Lil' Bitch 0 Report post Posted December 31, 2004 the idea came up of bringing toy babies to the show and throwing them in the ring when Snitsky is wrestling ala the ECW fans throwing in Head. I wouldn't do it unless you want to be kicked out. Cool idea though.
Guest Brian Report post Posted December 31, 2004 Or you could sneak the babies in using the old household handheld trick: tape it to the inside of your legs under your pants.
geniusMoment 0 Report post Posted December 31, 2004 Or you could sneak the babies in using the old household handheld trick: tape it to the inside of your legs under your pants. The thought of a baby taped to the inside of my legs is disturbing. Imagine the reaction if security finds it on you, how do you explain your way out of that one without looking like a creep. BUTT 0 Report post Posted December 31, 2004 If you throw anything into the ring, you'll probably get kicked out.
Art Sandusky 0 Report post Posted December 31, 2004 I wouldn't even try it unless I could get at least a dozen other people to help.
Nightfall 0 Report post Posted December 31, 2004 When going into the arena for Unforgiven a few months ago, they checked all bags (not REALLY well, but enough to see any large objects), so I doubtb you could get them in there.

Dark Age 0 Report post Posted December 31, 2004 I think you're all missing the point here. I said "y'all can pay for me if you like". I even added the American term of 'y'all' just to fit in. And YET - no replies! No one has offered to pay for me! What's the deal guys?
Guest Fook Report post Posted December 31, 2004 Well, for starters, you're dealing with Canadians here so you probably should have used "eh" instead of "y'all". Second, the exchange rate is not very favourable to us Canucks. Plus, I'm not going myself, so my money would go to waste as I'd never get to experience your greatness in person. Dark Age 0 Report post Posted December 31, 2004 Well, obviously. Don't worry though Fook - maybe some day you can meet me too! Just keep the faith.

Lil' Bitch 0 Report post Posted January 1, 2005 If you throw anything into the ring, you'll probably get kicked out. A guy got kicked out for throwing a plastic cup at HHH at my house show the night before.
Lt. Al Giardello 0 Report post Posted January 1, 2005 RAW. Carlito is SD. No shit... But I'm attending the Smackdown the next day in my hometown of Montreal. Which is why I brought it up.
Guest Tjhe CyNick Report post Posted January 3, 2005 I was going to go, just to cheer for Hassan, but decided its not worth it. I made a resolution a long time ago not to pay for a show healdined by HHH, so I'm sticking to that promise.
