Guest Agent of Oblivion Posted January 5, 2005 Report Posted January 5, 2005 There were churches in Kentucky I would've guessed were sheds and such if it weren't for the crosses and religious paraphrenalia around them.
Guest SP-1 Posted January 5, 2005 Report Posted January 5, 2005 I'm actually kind of drawn to simpler, smaller churches. The church isn't the building, it's the people.
Special K Posted January 5, 2005 Report Posted January 5, 2005 Sure, small churches are great. A steel box is really uninspiring though.
Guest Salacious Crumb Posted January 5, 2005 Report Posted January 5, 2005 I always thought it would be cool to see a church that looked like a concert stage, with lots of flashing lights and giant video monitors. A lot of churches have that now minus the flashing lights.
Slayer Posted January 5, 2005 Report Posted January 5, 2005 "Now, let us thank the Lord for this magnificent crystal cathedral, which allows us to look out upon His wonderous creation! ... Gaze down at God's fabulous parquet floor! Eyes on the floor... still on the floor... always on God's floor."
Ripper Posted January 5, 2005 Report Posted January 5, 2005 Build this out of copper like the statue of liberty and you have the perfect church. The preacher would stand on her left buttock and give the word. The choir would be on the right. We would all look up in awe and marvel at Gods creation. I would go every sunday....and Wednsday for prayer meeting...and saturday for choir rehersal.
PLAGIARISM! Posted January 5, 2005 Report Posted January 5, 2005 I think they should just have a guy nominated as the church with a big umbrella and stand around him. That's nice and communal.

tekcop Posted January 7, 2005 Report Posted January 7, 2005 This was the first image to pop in my head after reading the title. I think I clicked just to see if anyone would post it.

Guest Agent of Oblivion Posted January 7, 2005 Report Posted January 7, 2005 Mormons are even weirder than Munchkins. Do you have them in Britain? Either one.
PLAGIARISM! Posted January 7, 2005 Report Posted January 7, 2005 We have Donny Osmond sporadically. We ate all the munchkins during the beef scare.
Nighthawk Posted January 8, 2005 Report Posted January 8, 2005 There was a documentary about Mormons in Britain. It was in the early 80s though.
