I love submissions matches. I am sure a few of you here know that I would love to see Dames idea (if im not mistaken for SurSer 2003) of an Angle-UT submissions match. I loved Austins-Hart WMXIII match. Would love to see a Lesnar-Benoit subs match.

I'm booking for a Edge/Benoit WM Title Match with Batistia/HHH with the blood feud and Orton/Rock(the heel/face situation can easily go either way) Lita/Trish(with belt) and Jericho/Benjamin/Hardy/Christian(IC 4 Way Ladder) and 'Gene+Regal/Tajiri+Rhyno (heel turned) for the Raw side.

 

Heat Match

Tajiri Vs Rob Conway w/Slyvian Grenier

Short but energetic match with Conway winning via Flag shot from Grenier.

 

Opening Match

World Tag Title Match

Eugene/Regal Vs Tomko/Christian

Fun Comedy Match leads to Christian eating a RockBottom/Stunner combo for the champs to retain. Expect alot of a new "old" stuff here from Eugene for the hot PR crowd.

Christy will act as special guest timekeeper and Eugene will be seen waving to her during the match which sets up the "Eugene is in Love" comedy angle you know that WWE is chomping at the bit to do.

Winner: Eugene and William Regal Time: 8:35 Rating:***(on the fun comedy scale. Wrestling will be non-existant here)

Hassan comes out with massive heat since P.R is uber kayfabed.

 

Hassan toys with Lawler initally and no sells a few punches and kicks him in the stomach to execute a Jacknife Powerbomb. Lawler gets up but Hassan distracts the Ref and Davari hits a STIFF kick to the face of Lawler. Hassan tosses a suplex and finishes him with the Clutch.

Batisia is all "whatever"...Triple H shows signs of concern as Batistia does a few warm ups. Flair rolls in obviously drunk already. Cuts a Hilarious promo about tonight being the night****

 

I.C Title Match

Benjamin Vs Maven

Short but energetic match. Benjamin wins via Exploder Lite. Maven is pissed after the match. as he leaves he says "It's not over yet. Just you wait"

****Eric Bischoff, in his Tweener mode asks Shawn if he'll be fair. Shawn says "I doubt it" and Eric says "Good. I respect your honesty"****

 

Lita; is sad and pissed that she lost the title but Kane reassures her "Forget the title lita, you'll get it again. But tonight; Gene Snitsky, the one who killed our baby will learn what it feels like to be an abortion when he wakes up in a pool of blood".

 

Kane Vs Gene Snitsky

Match is declared a non-scantioned(by "orders of the Board of Directors") NO DQ FCA Match on Heat by Bischoff. The match is your typical brawl. Kane wins via Repeated Tombstones on some object. Chair to be symbolic. Hopefully something more dastardly. Kane walks back to his locker room to discover Lita is gone. A note is left saying "I took your bride. Your agony has only just started"

Winner: Kane Time: 11:21 Rating:*3/4

 

****Edge cuts a "this is my destiny! Shawn ruined it at Taboo, and I was screwed by Mr. McMahon when everyone knows I pinned Benoit for the title. But tonight; I will get the title. My destiny isn't wrong"****

In the highest ppv spot these two will ever see in their career; they work a short match to calm/quiet the crowd down for the EC match. Dean wins via weightlifting belt shot behind the ref's back.

****Eric Bischoff personally escorts the title to the ringside table. He explains the rules of the Match. He scantions Earl Hebner as the outside official and hands him the ONLY set of keys to unlock the chamber door should Mr. Michaels be unble to fulfill his duty.****

Triple H Vs Randy Orton Vs Chris Benoit Vs Batistia Vs Chris Jericho Vs Edge

 

Order of Entry

Chris Benoit and Edge (the two that caused the whole thing to occur)

Batistia.

 

Benoit and Edge get ten minutes and it's a good ten minutes, HHH comes in and double teams on Benoit until Orton (i believe the chambers are unlocked at random times). Orton evens it up. Jericho comes in. By the 25 minute mark, Edge, HHH, Jericho and Benoit are bloody. Shawn's licking his chops to pour. Batistia comes in and it'll look like a bomb was detonated. HHH during the rampage crawls into a chamber to rest. Batistia pins Jericho via Double Batistiabomb. Bodies are still laid out. Batistia turns around and sees HHH resting. HHH realizes he's trapped. Batista stares down HHH while the crowd is rabid for this but Orton sneaks up and hits the RKO but Batistia kicks out. Edge goes for the Spear on Benoit but he moves and he crashes into Shawn into the cage/mesh part of the ring. This sets up Shawn's flow. Batistia goes for a Press slam on Benoit but HHH while stumbling backwards from Orton into Batistia, causing him to wobble. Benoit locks the Crossface. Batistia tries to repeat Monday but Benoit has it locked. Batistia rises up as HHH goes for a Pedigree on Orton and shakes Benoit off but Benoit's feet hit Triple H, Causing him to lose hold of Orton and Orton hits the RKO. HBK is revived by Batistia. HBK makes the dramatic three count. HHH stares down Batistia who simply shrugs "Business". HHH throws a fit. Batistia walks into a RKO but he kicks out for a second time. RKO attempt again into a whip and Batistialine finishes Orton off. Benoit locks the Crossface again on Batistia and Batistia struggles to beat it and passes out to stay strong. Edge and Benoit are the first two men in and the last two out. A 5-10 minute slugfest results In Edge going for a Spear on Benoit but again he moves but Shawn reacts on time with a SCM of his own stumbling him back into 3 Germans, Benoit goes for the Swan but misses. Edge hits a Drop-Toe hold down and locks Benoit in a Figure Four Shooter but Benoit counters into a Crossface...Edge's feet are under the ropes but Shawn doesn't call it. Edge finally taps out.

Winner: Chris Benoit Time:42:18 Rating:****1/4

Sounds like good booking, except 1 thing...

 

The 11:00 Kane/Snitsky match better be 99% offense for Kane. Snitsky getting ANYTHING substantial wouldn't make much sense, considering Kane is suppose to get his heat back by destroying the big piece of crap (or luggage). An even match that long would be horrible, so just make it a squash-a-roo.

Batista (yeah i am most likely wrong but hell batista is on fire right now, might as well run with it while it lasts)

I really like Shadow's idea for the booking of the EC match.

 

This PPV is no doubt a one match show, but it's a BIG match. If some of you are like me and think a crowd can really help bring up a PPV (ala shows in Canada) then this should be one to get since the Puerto Rican crowd should be really into things.

 

The undercard is shitty but since there aren't many it looks like the EC will be a long match.

 

Kane, Hassan, Lita, Eugene/Regal and Benjamin are easy picks.

 

As for the EC:

 

Triple H is the easy pick to win and the one I'm going with. I'm curious to see how they protect everyone in this match. How will Batista be eliminated? How will Orton? What will happen to Edge? Who will get into it with HBK? Could Benoit have a better shot than we think? Could someone other than HHH win? How would HHH be eliminated? How will his feuds with Batista and Orton be furthered?

 

It's a match filled with intrigue and 6 of the top workers on RAW. I think it's a must see. I would be hesitant to pay $35 to watch the show but I'll be headed to a local Hooters to watch the show and expect to enjoy it.

As everyone else has said, the entire undercard looks very predictable indeed: Benjamin, Kane, Hassan, Lita & Eugene/Regal all going over.

 

For the EC, I reckon Benoit and Edge will start things out, followed by HHH, Jericho, Orton then Batista. Jericho and Benoit get eliminated to leave Orton outnumbered before Batista comes in. With Edge down, HHH holds up Orton for Batista, and of course Orton ducks to cause Batista to level HHH. This lets Orton dropkick Batista out of the ring and get the pin on Trips. A bit of 3-way action between 'Tista, Edge & Orton leads to a spear/RKO combo putting away Big Dave, and finally a victory over a bloody Orton for Edge.

 

So my prediction: Edge.

As for EC its a guessing game IMO. Edge and Batista are the two on a roll but its too early for Batista and that leaves Edge. And why I think Jericho? He was least favoured to become Undisputed Champ from Vengence 01 so wouldn't be suprised if he pops outta nowhere to do it again but thats a long shot.

 

I also don't reckon Eliminations will happen until everyone is released because in reality if they want this show to go at least some of the distance the EC gonna need to go an hour.

How is Edge on a roll? He beat Jericho and Eugene. Prior to that, he's been jobbed out like nuts.

 

And Jericho was an easy call for Vengeance01. He jobbed SO much in the build to the show that he HAD to win the titles.
