This season has been written ahead moreso than past seasons, I believe, because of the quick turnaround time and the straight-through season. I imagine the writers went in with the expectation that they'd bring back a lot of old faces. I'm surprised Tony has stuck around so long, as I know there were big concerns right at the end of last season about budget, which was the given reason as to why none of the regulars returned.

Too early for a bump, but I'm just wondering how many hours to go until they hit 1AM-2AM. Only 'cause even though IMDb's probably wrong or something, that's when Palmer comes back in and stays until the end of the season. I'm sure that everyone already knew that, but it surprised me anyway.

It's not the "who" in itself that is the spoiler, but the "why" and "how" and that's what I'd love to find out.

...Oh yeah, you did post that in January. Uh, oops. But it still didn't say WTF he'd be up to, so. Basically it's that he's the ex-president. Whoo yeah.

And even I brought it up on the last page of the thread. Nevermind me and my cough-syrup-enhanced idiocy.

In my eyes, Paul has totally redeemed himself in the last few episodes. They can't kill him off now.

I have a feeling (hope?) Paul's going to be all right. Generally when someone crucial gets whacked, the actual death hits just before the episode is over.

Either way, it's a testament to how well this show is churning along this year, especially in the recent episodes. The McClennan-Forster stuff and the NOBLE MUSLIM GUYS YEAH are both a bit overwrought (still better than Yusef getting beaten to death on the cheese-o-meter), but the fact that we're all caring whether or not Paul Raines, who came in as an absolute whiny-ass caricature, lives or dies, is pretty cool.

If Dina had watched 24 season 3, she'd still be alive.

How did Chloe change clothes, put on makeup and drive to CTU and get situated in a single commercial break? I always give the writters the benefit of the doubt but that was just retarded.

And everything must also be located 5 minutes of everything because i love how Jack and Dina got to that guy's house within' a commercial break too.

For 24, I just say it's better then watching useless drama around CTU and adding stupid storylines etc, It keeps the show exciting i guess.

True the man has 49324293598 lives. He's worse than a damn cat. I remember cracking up so hard when Ramon said that last season.

I finally got to watch Season 3 (I got S1 for $18 at Costco and S3 for free due to a glitch on foxstore.com, I'll get S2 soon - I've got a $10 off coupon that might knock to ~$25). Ramon was a fucking pimp (and that was an awesome line).

And LOL at what a GIS of Habib Marwan turns up:

I totally agree with Tyler. I don't know for sure, but I'd be SHOCKED if the target was anything else.

And after tonight, I've come to the conclusion that 24, the series, can NOT end with Jack Bauer alive. He's been through too much and everyone sees him as Superman. He either needs to die in the last episode or a few away from the last for the series to have a satisfying conclusion - whatever season that may be.
