tommytomlin 0 Report post Posted May 18, 2005 Mandy was in Season 1 (blew up a plane in the first hour), then in Season 2 as the chick who attacked Palmer in the final hour by giving him hand AIDS

chirs3 0 Report post Posted May 19, 2005 (edited) I think Mitch Anderson died. Behrooz, not so much. I think Anderson ejected before the crash - he kept asking for safety guarantees from Marwan. I don't think so. It was only mentioned in passing, but Buchanan said one of AF1's escort planes followed and shot down Anderson. While it's always possible he ejected, I'm sure they've already examined the crash site and would've said so by now. Edited May 19, 2005 by chirs3
mike546 0 Report post Posted May 20, 2005 24 the VIDEO GAME~! It's E3, we're in LA, so we popped down to CTU to interrogate the mastermind behind 24: The Game. Cue: ticking clock.... The following takes place between breakfast and lunch, Wednesday morning, Pacific Daylight Time. What is your name? Chris Sorrell What is your role on 24: The Game? Creative Director What are some previous games you've worked on? Primal, MediEvil, a number of Amiga/ST games, and Megadrive games including the James Pond series (if anyone can remember that far back!) Will you give us a brief overview of 24: The Game? It is set in the three year gap between seasons 2 and 3. 24: The Game stands on its own as a completely new day in the life of Jack Bauer and CTU, while answering some of the questions that fans have been asking - how did President Palmer survive, what did Chase Edmunds do before he joined up with Jack, and so on. Who came up with the season bridging plot? It was a collaboration between the 24 writers and us. The writers on the show were keen to fill in some of that missing time as well and Duppy Demetrius, the TV show writer who wrote our script, worked very closely with us to make sure that we had a plot that suited games as well as '24'. Is the game plot considered 24 'canon' or fact - i.e. will it be referred to in the fourth season of TV show? We worked hard to make sure that the plot and story fits well into the overall '24' timeline, but it will not be referred to in the fourth season, which has already wrapped. How have you managed 24 hours of gameplay? Well, we've had to cheat a little - like the TV show does. I mean, we all know that each '24' episode is an hour of real time, but once adverts have taken their chunk you're actually down to about 42 minutes of show. Now we don't have to worry about adverts, but we have had to cater for different skill levels. So, we play with time a little to make sure that even for the good players the 24-defining time pressure is still there. Which characters appear in the game? Without giving too much away, I think I can safely say most of the characters you know from seasons two and three will be there. I don't think anyone will mind me saying that Jack, Kim, Palmer, Chase, Michelle and Tony will all be in there. Are they all voiced by their TV actors? Definitely. That's something we felt was very important to making this a true slice of 24. So, if you recognise a character from the show then their voice will be that actor's voice. What characters are playable? Hmmm, how to answer these questions without giving too much away... You definitely play Jack, Tony and Chase. How is the split-screen from the show, used in game? Just like it is in the TV show. However, not only do we use it in a cutscene manner where it summarises all the storylines going on in different positions, we also use it as an in-game tool. This has allowed us to devise some interesting new gameplay mechanics - views of things going on elsewhere in a level, views of 'what the bad guys are seeing', that kind of thing. How involved has the TV studio been? Very much. They were kind enough to let us onto the set back when we started this and from that moment on we've had a great relationship with several key people on the show. So, alongside all of the actors, we worked very closely with their Director of Photography Rodney Charters, Composer Sean Callery, Co-Producer Paul Gadd, and, as mentioned, Scriptwriter Duppy Demetrius. 10.59:57... 58... 59... 11.00:00. Time for a coffee break. Tune in tomorrow for the remaining 12 questions on 24: The Game.

Mole 0 Report post Posted May 24, 2005 There was just TOO much going on. The first season was great because the storyline in the beginning of the day went all the way to the end; kill David Paymer. The fourth season's storyline was all over the place and didn't concentrate on one overall storyline. It wasn't believeable. Same thing with season three but atleast season three had more twists and shocking moments. 1. Season 1 2. Season 3 3. Season 4 I never saw season 2, so I can't count it. the pinjockey 0 Report post Posted May 24, 2005 I disagree. I felt this season was much more believable in the sense that there was one main bad guy the whole time. In the previous seasons it starts with a small problem and within 24 hours three different layers of the evil hierarchy have been brought down. Here you have a terrorist cell with a multilayered plan which is what you would expect, distraction and diversion, before getting to the main point.
Guest Fook Report post Posted May 24, 2005 So Marwan is killed (although more of a suicide), the nuke is stopped, the president is securely in charge, the Chinese are appeased, Tony and Michelle are back together, and Jack Bauer is "dead". But what happened to Behrooz?

Mik 0 Report post Posted May 24, 2005 Mole is wrong, again. This was the best season of 24, by far. There was NO jumping around. They had one plan and everything had to happen in order for the following events to happen. It made sense. The ending was great. Habib Marwan was the best villian in 24 history...likely to never be topped. He was 100% flawless in his execution, always one step ahead of CTU and was only brought down by a direction confession by a heartless mercenary. All the previous villians have had weaknesses. Marwan had none. He never wavered or backed down from his goal. He wasn't killed by Jack... he killed himself. The real question is this... how do they make the next season work? I talked to quite a few people on the phone in the past two hours and none of us could come up with anything even remotely plausible.
the pinjockey 0 Report post Posted May 24, 2005 Next year has to be the season Tony takes over with Jack filling a role similar to Tony's role this season. As much as I love Jack, I can't buy him carrying the whole season without thinking "shouldn't someone realize, 'Wait, isn't he dead'". Either that or next season is 24 Mexican style with Jack as a federale.
Mik 0 Report post Posted May 24, 2005 My patchwork crack theory... Palmer runs for his 2nd term realizing that Logan is a spineless coward. He then proceeds to man up and claim responsibility for the attack, reinstate Jack Bauer and flaunt him to the Chinese to show their weakness. From there you just have a war for the 5th season... why not.
Guest El Satanico Report post Posted May 24, 2005 Jack drives an RV/Van or walks across the country helping people in need.
the pinjockey 0 Report post Posted May 24, 2005 Maybe we find Logan in a ditch (via a swoop and squat) after Palmer sold him out to the Chinese, "Hey, he was the President on that watch and he ordered the kidnapping." After that the Chinese don't give a shit so Bauer gets clean slate and he can wage war with Mandy all season (just because I want her on screen as much as possible). DerangedHermit 0 Report post Posted May 24, 2005 The real question is this... how do they make the next season work? I talked to quite a few people on the phone in the past two hours and none of us could come up with anything even remotely plausible. "In 2005, Jack Bauer was almost sent to prison for a crime he didn't commit. He faked his death and escaped to the Los Angeles underground. There he survives as a soldier of fortune. If you have a problem, if no one else can help you, and if you can find him, maybe you can hire JACK BAUER."
BlackFlagg 0 Report post Posted May 24, 2005 Ok, I'm kinda curious of how the whole Presidential thing works as I don't know much of this situation. Ok, Logan took office because Keeler couldn't act as President due to what happened....but if he recovers fine, what happens? Is Logan officially and completely the President or would Keeler retake office
MarvinisaLunatic 0 Report post Posted May 24, 2005 Jack is going to get caught up in something on his own, that is obvious. But I dont know how it will go without any help from the Government/CTU. I cant be the only one to wonder how Kim will find out about Jack being "Dead"? I assume he could just call her, but still.
