packwingfn Posted April 19, 2005 Report Posted April 19, 2005 How about the 24/Family Guy Promo? 2 weeks!
Guest Flyboy Posted April 19, 2005 Report Posted April 19, 2005 Harry from Sex and the City + finger-breaking street justice = hilariously good episode. I marked out when I saw Harry. That is all.
MarvinisaLunatic Posted April 19, 2005 Report Posted April 19, 2005 I just marked out when I saw you know who in the preview for next week.
Edwin MacPhisto Posted April 19, 2005 Report Posted April 19, 2005 ...IT MUST BE THAT GAEL'S ALIVE AGAIN!!!
starvenger Posted April 19, 2005 Report Posted April 19, 2005 How about the 24/Family Guy Promo? 2 weeks! Jack quits just so he can shock stick a US Marshall and torture a guy and all you care about is an ad for a lame cartoon? Anyways, I guess that next week we'll find out just what the fuck is up between Novick and Palmer, because they didn't exactly split on the best of terms, what with Novick staging a coup and crippling Ro Laren in season 2 and all.
Guest T®ITEC Posted April 19, 2005 Report Posted April 19, 2005 Damn it Edwin! Why must you ruin the surprise that Fox so clearly ruined in their previews?! I laughed so hard when they showed, uh, Gael just sitting there on his cel phone. Not dead from the ebolapox. Really, just... no other show makes me laugh as hard as 24. I love it.
Guest Flyboy Posted April 19, 2005 Report Posted April 19, 2005 I still say Nina is alive. That would rock.
Dr. Tyler; Captain America Posted April 19, 2005 Report Posted April 19, 2005 I swear to God, it wouldn't make me do a double take at this point. Anything for the shock value!
Placebo Effect Posted April 19, 2005 Report Posted April 19, 2005 Those last fifteen minutes were absolutely fantastic. I was biting my nails thinking that I was going to have to wait until next week for Bauer's interrogation.
Guest Fook Posted April 19, 2005 Report Posted April 19, 2005 This new president needs to grow some balls and actually make a fucking choice. "What do you say Mr. President?" "Ummm....umm...I'll call you back."
bobobrazil1984 Posted April 19, 2005 Report Posted April 19, 2005 gee too bad nobody called the amnesty global when CTU was in the middle of torturing like THREE OR FOUR INNOCENT PEOPLE! tough luck Sarah... and Heller's annoying son... and Paul... and, err i feel like i'm missing someone.
Mik Posted April 19, 2005 Report Posted April 19, 2005 These are very efficient terrorists. They took down Air Force 1, recovered a nuclear football, and stole a nuclear warhead all within 1 and 1/2 hours.
starvenger Posted April 19, 2005 Report Posted April 19, 2005 Yet, the thing I'm most impressed with is the fact that they got a court order done in about 10 minutes - at 12:30amPST.
treble Posted April 20, 2005 Report Posted April 20, 2005 I still say Nina is alive. That would rock. Pretty sure that Nina's toast, but I wouldn't be surprised if Sherry's still kicking around somewhere.
starvenger Posted April 26, 2005 Report Posted April 26, 2005 Logan reminds me of an odd merging of Nixon and Mr. Bean for some reason. Plus Snitsky for the "It's not my fault" comment...
starvenger Posted April 26, 2005 Report Posted April 26, 2005 Chloe? Out in the field? BWAHAHAHAHAHAHA!!!
LaParkaYourCar Posted April 26, 2005 Report Posted April 26, 2005 Chloe is finally gonna get killed off!
LaParkaYourCar Posted April 26, 2005 Report Posted April 26, 2005 Yeah...sappy moment between Edgar and Chloe...she's definitely kicking the bucket.
starvenger Posted April 26, 2005 Report Posted April 26, 2005 (edited) Um... damn. Then again, CTU agents should probably all have gun training, right? Edited April 26, 2005 by starvenger
Vyce Posted April 26, 2005 Report Posted April 26, 2005 Whoa.... Not only does Chloe not die.....she fucking KICKED ASS.
areacode212 Posted April 26, 2005 Report Posted April 26, 2005 That was the greatest moment in TV history.
Edwin MacPhisto Posted April 26, 2005 Report Posted April 26, 2005 Oh, shit, that was brilliant. Oh, and that other guy coming back was kinda cool too.
Guest OSIcon Posted April 26, 2005 Report Posted April 26, 2005 I loved that episode. I really like the President's (the former Vice President) character. On a show where a lot of the characters are always on top of things, it is nice to have a character who panics, has trouble making decisions, and doubts himself. It is perfectly realistic too as most people would have trouble being thrust into a position they never thought they would have especially when an emergency was going on. Chloe's response to Edgar's compliment ("I know") was also great, as was Chole's response to the woman when she asked Chole if she had a gun ("I work with computers"). Whenever you think they are going to change her character significantly, they make sure to throw in a few uncalled-for lines from her.
Chazz Posted April 26, 2005 Report Posted April 26, 2005 Go Chloe!! Her and Edgar are definatley going to hook up by The Season Finale. Funny Interplay, as already previously stated before, between those 2. Oh, and SHUT THE FUCK UP, AUDREY!!
Mik Posted April 26, 2005 Report Posted April 26, 2005 Yet another time when Jack Bauer was right, and someone else proved to be wrong. How many times does he have to save the United States until everyone throws up their hands and says, "you know what, we're gonna let this motherfucker do whatever he wants... no questions."? 15? 25? 100? It's just silly how many times he's been proven right and everyone else wrong.

Most of the time it is Jack against the World. This time Jack had almost everyone else on his side.
Mik Posted April 26, 2005 Report Posted April 26, 2005 True. But you see what I mean. But understandably, the hero needs barriers. I just want him to be wrong once or twice.
