Giuseppe Zangara Posted January 20, 2005 Author Report Posted January 20, 2005 Smoke it right, and if it's been a day or so since your last one, you get a pretty decent buzz. Short-lived, though. You have to smoke a lot to get a substantial buzz, but you end up feeling like shit afterwards.
Art Sandusky Posted January 20, 2005 Report Posted January 20, 2005 I don't feel like shit afterwards. I'm just disoriented for a good minute or so after that first big drag.
Giuseppe Zangara Posted January 20, 2005 Author Report Posted January 20, 2005 Sure, it's okay after one, but have you chain smoked them? Partially why I started this thread in the first place.
Art Sandusky Posted January 20, 2005 Report Posted January 20, 2005 Yeah, I don't smoke more than four a day, spaced out. I'll go through a pack in a week or so.
Giuseppe Zangara Posted January 20, 2005 Author Report Posted January 20, 2005 They don't taste like ass.
Giuseppe Zangara Posted January 20, 2005 Author Report Posted January 20, 2005 See, this is where we disagree. However, I've developed an alarming tolerance to tobacco, so it might be time to stop.
Guest Agent of Oblivion Posted January 20, 2005 Report Posted January 20, 2005 Quite the opposite, it's time to start!
Giuseppe Zangara Posted January 20, 2005 Author Report Posted January 20, 2005 Maybe. I'm presently cutting caffeine out of my diet, so I should supplant one vice with another.
Guest Agent of Oblivion Posted January 20, 2005 Report Posted January 20, 2005 You'd pull off smoking, aesthetically speaking, if you switched to something that wasn't an all-black clove-looking kinda cigarettes. Those are way too effeminate. What do you think of cigars or cigarillos?
Giuseppe Zangara Posted January 20, 2005 Author Report Posted January 20, 2005 Cigars are far too pungent for me, though, getting back to normal cigarettes, I've found myself smoking Camel Turkish Royals. Not that bad. (And yes, it's mainly this board's recommendation that saw me get them in the first place.)
Nighthawk Posted January 20, 2005 Report Posted January 20, 2005 I've considered smoking a pipe. Maybe you should do that. It's kind of a gamble how smoking a pipe makes a person look though.
Giuseppe Zangara Posted January 20, 2005 Author Report Posted January 20, 2005 It'll go well with my future career as an English professor.
Mole Posted January 21, 2005 Report Posted January 21, 2005 I only had $4.26 today and I needed a pack of smokes. All I could afford was some Newport Lights. I'm very annoyed right now. Too much menthol for my tastes.
Jingus Posted January 21, 2005 Report Posted January 21, 2005 Jesus, where do you live? That much will get you about anything here in TN, hell I usually get my Camels for at least a dollar less.
Art Sandusky Posted January 21, 2005 Report Posted January 21, 2005 Yeah, a pack of the Blacks here is $4.76 with tax. You had nearly that much and could only afford Newports? Hrm. Maybe living in the South has its benefits.
Guest cosbywasmurdered Posted January 21, 2005 Report Posted January 21, 2005 $10.00 plus In my area of Canada for any decent cigs.
Guest HungryJack Posted January 21, 2005 Report Posted January 21, 2005 8 i dont smoke. will it help me sleep ?
Jingus Posted January 21, 2005 Report Posted January 21, 2005 $10.00 plus In my area of Canada for any decent cigs. Well, whaddya expect with you guys' maple-leaf Monopoly money?
Guest Agent of Oblivion Posted January 21, 2005 Report Posted January 21, 2005 MA's cigarette excise tax is outrageous. It's at least a dollar. Probably $1.50 or so, actually. I don't feel like looking it up. Most states range anywhere from 50-90 cents a pack, in addition to the 41 cents the feds take.

The pack of Djarum Blacks I bought in Swansea,MA ran me 6.45 I did the economical thing and split it with someone else.
Guest Agent of Oblivion Posted January 21, 2005 Report Posted January 21, 2005 Do the economical thing and move.
Mole Posted January 21, 2005 Report Posted January 21, 2005 When I get back to school, I can get a pack for $3.00 and that is cheap. Thank you for the Indians.
Nevermortal Posted January 21, 2005 Report Posted January 21, 2005 Do the economical thing and move. I will never....EVER leave Rhode Island. EVER!
treble Posted January 21, 2005 Report Posted January 21, 2005 The way to go. I make those at work (the packages, that is).
Nighthawk Posted January 21, 2005 Report Posted January 21, 2005 Hey, you know what I realized today? I should get a sweater vest with the union jack on it. I pay $3.50 for cigarettes.
Guest Agent of Oblivion Posted January 21, 2005 Report Posted January 21, 2005 $2.98 at my favorite gas station.
Giuseppe Zangara Posted January 21, 2005 Author Report Posted January 21, 2005 Life is cheap in Indiana.
