spiny norman Posted January 10, 2005 Report Posted January 10, 2005 I was asked to tour with Tom Jones from February 9 to February 21, playing in four cities and at ten concerts. Unfortunately I happen to be leaving on a trip to Europe on January 20, and don't return until February 20. Should I have cancelled Europe? I don't think there's been someone so saddened about their prospect of a holiday to Europe as me at this time. Well, there probably has, but nevertheless. Which would be a better experience? I'm not even a fan of most of Tom Jones' stuff, but I think it would have been a great experience anyway.
Murmuring Beast Posted January 10, 2005 Report Posted January 10, 2005 Were you his tanning assistant?
razazteca Posted January 11, 2005 Report Posted January 11, 2005 You would probably get laid more if you went on tour with Tom Jones then going on the European vacation.
Guest theanswer1824 Posted January 11, 2005 Report Posted January 11, 2005 should have went with tom jones man. i passed by him in vegas and he had the BEST women in that room with him. anyone hear of the rumor that he banged the person that plays Elvira? He supposedly sent her to the hospital after he hit that shit: vaginal tear.
The Czech Republic Posted January 11, 2005 Report Posted January 11, 2005 That's what Dana Carvey said. He said it was Tom, and his Jones.
Guest Agent of Oblivion Posted January 11, 2005 Report Posted January 11, 2005 Touring in what capacity, exactly?
The Czech Republic Posted January 11, 2005 Report Posted January 11, 2005 Should I have cancelled Europe? ABSOLUTELY NOT! Future generations must be able to hear "The Final Countdown."
B. Brian Brunzell Posted January 11, 2005 Report Posted January 11, 2005 You'd probably be knee-deep in Tom's throwaway pussy. And hell, pussy that Jones throws away is better than any of us will probably ever get.
spiny norman Posted January 11, 2005 Author Report Posted January 11, 2005 Touring in what capacity, exactly? Musician.
Edwin MacPhisto Posted January 11, 2005 Report Posted January 11, 2005 That's right. You were spiny norman, then Throatwobbler Mangrove when you had a concert of some sort that was a mega big deal, and then spiny norman again. Well, I like visiting Europe an awful lot, so I'm gonna call it a toss-up.
spiny norman Posted January 12, 2005 Author Report Posted January 12, 2005 That's right. You were spiny norman, then Throatwobbler Mangrove when you had a concert of some sort that was a mega big deal, and then spiny norman again. Yep, that's all me. I played at the ARIA Awards, which are kind of like the Australian Grammies, for a Hall of Fame inductee. Though I'm not sure how great that sounds given the most recent ceremony had Jet sweep through almost every category. But this artist is actually a good one, and was Australia's most popular in the late 60s and mid 80s to early 90s. Well, I like visiting Europe an awful lot, so I'm gonna call it a toss-up. I've never been to Europe before. But, as a friend of mine pointed out, long after Tom Jones is dead and buried, Europe will still be there.
