NoCalMike 0 Report post Posted January 12, 2005 I wonder if for the ECW PPV, they will allow them to work with the smaller ring size that ECW & WCW used. I think this could really help out with cruiser matches, and if Super Crazy/Taijiri get to have a 20+ minute match in that smaller ring, it could be awesome. Guest Fook_Theta Report post Posted January 12, 2005 Fuck all of you saying Super Crazy vs Tajiri/Rey Rey. Super Crazy vs Eddie. There, I found a decent "Match I'd like to see that never happened.' Three way feud with those three/four would be great. Keeps all of them in the partial limelight, while giving them the ability to not be jobbed out in ususal fashion to OVW talent. Tawren 0 Report post Posted January 12, 2005 I hate to sound like a loser ROHbot, but Super Crazy fought Eddie at ROH Era of Honor Begins 2/23/02. So that match has happened.
Nighthawk 0 Report post Posted January 12, 2005 They did have that match. Eddie looked like he was going to go hang himself when it was over.
Guest Fook_Theta Report post Posted January 12, 2005 Well damn, I was a fool not to doublecheck to see if that matchup hadn't been played yet. Charlie Haas vs Super Crazy?

It was a sound and fun match but it appeared eddy wasn't quite back to his level at this point.
Zack Malibu 0 Report post Posted January 12, 2005 Super Crazy actually made a decent heel in *gasp* XPW when he feuded with Psychosis and took a spike to carve up his face. Obviously this probably wouldn't be the WWE's route to go, but it was still pretty cool.
Vyce 0 Report post Posted January 12, 2005 If you're reviving the cruiserweight division, then you've GOT to bring in: I can honestly say I would mark if they brought in Atlantis. I also personally would love them to bring in Shocker, cause I think he's a decent enough worker and could get them some crossover appeal. And Tarzan Boy. And motherfucking Super Porky (who would fucking RULE THE FUCKING ROSTER - fuck it, I want to see him beat JBL for the goddamn title). Of course, they'd have to ditch their current ring announcer and sign the one they use for CMLL. Cause the luchadors have to be announced the way that guy does it. "Capitan de los tecnicos......SHOCKER~!" BTW, has Crazy gotten himself back into shape? Last time I saw him was on CMLL TV, and it looked like he's let himself get pudgy. Gary Floyd 0 Report post Posted January 12, 2005 I know who they can bring in to add to the Cruiserweight division! ...OK, someone can kill me now for that. Holy crap, I thought that I was the only person on this board who knew of that show (and it's a guilty pleasure of mine. So sue me, I think it's a funny show)
Zack Malibu 0 Report post Posted January 12, 2005 I think it's either WWC or IWA in Puerto Rico that has been/is using people dressed as Mucha Lucha characters and feuding.
The Czech Republic 0 Report post Posted January 12, 2005 I also personally would love them to bring in Shocker, cause I think he's a decent enough worker and could get them some crossover appeal. With WWE's creative team, I can see it now: Teddy Long: "Hey Torrie, I want to see you in my office. This is very important to your future employment." Torrie Wilson: "uh ok!" Teddy Long: "Okay, now that you're here, good. I want to give you the Shocker." Torrie Wilson: "WHAT?!?!?" Teddy Long: "Oh yeah. Once I give you the Shocker, you are never going to be the same." Torrie Wilson: "I'm gonna te..." Teddy Long: "Come on out here!" (Enter Shocker, stage right.) Shocker: "Hola." Teddy Long: "Torrie, meet the Shocker. I hand-picked you to manage him to a Cruiserweight title victory. I think this could be big for both of you. Thanks for stopping by."

nl5xsk1 0 Report post Posted January 12, 2005 Czech, good work on your Teddy Long/Torrie Wilson/Shocker segment ... normally the jokey-segments that are written on TSM are about as funny as testicular cancer ... but yours was actually funny.
Guest Coffey Report post Posted January 12, 2005 Somehow, all I can think of is what happend to Ultimo Dragon when I hear this news I think of Jerry Lynn. At least with Ultimo Dragon I can say he was older and less mobile due to compound injuries adding up and having a toll on his ringwork. Lynn went on to TNA to have several good-to-great matches. If WWE misused Jerry Lynn, why should we hope for them to do anything with Super Crazy? Especially when you factor in WWE's bias against minorities.
Guest Loss Report post Posted January 12, 2005 If they were truly serious about reviving the cruiserweight division, Taijiri never would have been moved to RAW. Methinks the ECW PPV will be headlined by an HHH title defense against Randy Orton. After all, this is the same company that tried to make Steve Austin v Kurt Angle a WWF v WCW feud. Kurt Angle Mark 0 Report post Posted January 12, 2005 Update on Super Crazy by Scherer He says that the WWE is still interested in Super Crazy however Crazy has a hand injury and doesn't want to sign until he is 100% Heyman pitched the idea to sign him, his plan was to make Crazy cruiserweight champ and partner him with the Big Show. ChrisMWaters 0 Report post Posted January 12, 2005 Heyman pitched the idea to sign him, his plan was to make Crazy cruiserweight champ and partner him with the Big Show. What's with Heyman and pairing big guys and small guys together like that? In ECW it was Rey Mysterio and 911 for a brief bit. As well as Big Sal and the smaller members of the FBI. Now in WWE he wants Show and Crazy...
Zack Malibu 0 Report post Posted January 12, 2005 That's odd to hear that, since I was figuring Show/Rey could team up during Van Dam's absence. I'd be for that team.
AndrewTS 0 Report post Posted January 12, 2005 Teddy Long: "Oh yeah. Once I give you the Shocker, you are never going to be the same." I'm pretty sure the Shocker is old news to Torrie. BTW, has Crazy gotten himself back into shape? Last time I saw him was on CMLL TV, and it looked like he's let himself get pudgy. Wasn't he always a bit pudgy? Plus, hell, it wasn't really a problem for El Dandy.

Placebo Effect 0 Report post Posted January 13, 2005 Noble got busted when his old doc turned him over for steroids didn't he? Yes, in a way. Noble went to the doctor and, to get the office to pay for it, submitted the bill to the WWE. The problem was that it was for an infection at the site where he was injecting his steroids and the doctor listed it on the paperwork that Noble gave the office. The WWE was forced to fire him because they had medical documentation that he was using steroids. They didn't want to, but having the proof in writing meant that they were exposed legally unless they took action. Exactly, which sparked that fun adventure where everyone bitched, moaned, and complained immediately about how the WWE are terrible, terrible, people and that they don't know true talent, etc. And once the truth was revealed, the thread pretty much died.
