Guest fanofcoils Posted April 6, 2005 Report Posted April 6, 2005 I hope Blandra (Kendra) doesn't win! She is so boring, she is like the female Kelly. I hope Tana wins.
RavishingRickRudo Posted April 8, 2005 Report Posted April 8, 2005 Awesome, market research from Tana.
smh810 Posted April 8, 2005 Report Posted April 8, 2005 Oh man could this finally be curtains for Chris?
RavishingRickRudo Posted April 8, 2005 Report Posted April 8, 2005 Donald Trump... talking to his maid.
The Tino Standard Posted April 8, 2005 Report Posted April 8, 2005 What a bullshit finish. I cannot understand how Carolyn completely exposes Alex as a fraud and shows that it's clear he screwed up everything he touched in the project as the PM, yet Trump still fires Angie because the presentation was bad. Um, hello? When EVERY FUCKING THING leading up to the presentation is a disaster, what the hell is she supposed to do?
starvenger Posted April 8, 2005 Author Report Posted April 8, 2005 Trump at some point makes up his mind and then sticks to it no matter what the others say, which is bloody annoying at times. Especially when he does shit like forcing Angie to admit that she choked, because he needs some sort of reason to fire her.
smh810 Posted April 8, 2005 Report Posted April 8, 2005 Angie absolutely deserved to be fired, I dont care what the circumstances are you just dont stammer all over the place during a presentation like that. Reading from a hastily written script, no ability to improvise, I'm sorry but you just cant crack like that.
The Fett Posted April 8, 2005 Report Posted April 8, 2005 I can't believe Trump let Alex and Chris off the hook again. They did absolutely nothing. It's easy to blame Angie when she did all the work. The only thing I saw Alex do was hang out with the models. The only responsibility Chris had was to buy the gadgets and he couldn't even do that without losing the credit card. He spent the entire day just standing around at Best Buy waiting for them to find the credit card, while Angie was doing 5 things at once. I have not been an Angie fan in the past, but she was royally screwed.
smh810 Posted April 8, 2005 Report Posted April 8, 2005 All three of them were bad, no doubt. However, Trump is absolutely right who does Alex have (or had) on his team now? He was GREAT when he was part of the power trio with Bren and Kendra. Its one thing to have margainal players on your team but at this point Chris and especially Angie were far from average. Chris losing the credit card was bad but not the shittiest thing he's done and wasnt enough to warrant a firing. Angie stammering and looking like an idiot in front of a big corporation thats more than enough grounds for her to go.
Guest M. Harry Smilac Posted April 8, 2005 Report Posted April 8, 2005 What I didn't understand. a)Chris charged 3,900+ on the card before he lost it leaving $1100. b)Chris is a millionaire so if it was my ass i'd fork out the dough. c)Chris got back and they didn't even seem to need the card for anything else. Angie has been on the show longer then she should have been anyways and last night she pretty much cracked herself by wigging out over being late. They got there and the execs didnt seem to give 2 shits about it.

Sure it's a check card that has the same amount on it that Stacy and Clinton give to people, but imagine that it was a corporate credit card, and that Chris hadn't noticed that he'd lost it. That'd be some bad shit right there, although I'd guess that most of it could be recovered. Still, the big deal to me about losing the card was that it took Chris out of action for most of the following day, not that some guy would go on a shopping spree. Losing one third of your manpower can't be all that good.
smh810 Posted April 8, 2005 Report Posted April 8, 2005 I've been meaning to post this for a few days but apparently Andy (Season 2) now has a job in the Trump Organization. I believe he's working with Trump Jr. on a real-estate project.

How could they afford everything else, such as the designers, the models and the materials?
Guest Rrrsh Posted April 11, 2005 Report Posted April 11, 2005 All three members had bad qualities this week. But when the AE people say, point blank, you lost because your presentation blew, its clear that it has to be the underline reason why someone gets fired. So, when Angie admitted she choked, she was toast.

So, when Angie admitted she choked, she was toast. Sure they said the presentation blew, but they didn't see anything leading up to the presentation. Yeah, the bottom line is that the presentation sucked, but when everything leading up to it (things the AE people didn't see) was FUBAR'd, Angie had no chance.

So, when Angie admitted she choked, she was toast. Trump should've fired Angie without having her admit that she choked. He railroaded her into saying it so that he'd have the one definitive reason as to why he fired her. If he doesn't do that, then you're left with "everyone sucked, but she sucked the most" which I suppose doesn't wash when that normally spells the end for the PM - and it seems like he wanted to give Alex another chance. So, I don't disagree with Angie getting fired, I just didn't like the way it was done.
starvenger Posted April 15, 2005 Author Report Posted April 15, 2005 In the end, Chris gets the boot for losing a lot. But what was with the crying? There's no crying in the boardroom...
The Robfather Posted April 15, 2005 Report Posted April 15, 2005 I guess Kendra has to be the favorite to win at this point.
starvenger Posted April 15, 2005 Author Report Posted April 15, 2005 Oh, and one other thing I forgot to add - Isiah Thomas is a good leader/manager/whatever? OK, he did a decent job coaching the Pacers, but the Raptors? Knicks? The CBA?
CanadianChick Posted April 15, 2005 Report Posted April 15, 2005 Craig is so freaking lucky that Kendra won for their team, or else there is no doubt he'd get the boot.

Guest M. Harry Smilac Posted April 15, 2005 Report Posted April 15, 2005 I guess Kendra has to be the favorite to win at this point. I'm rooting for her but, her me me me attitude is starting to get a little annoying. Her and the lady that looks like a dinosaur but has a nice smile are my two picks. That laffing moment in the car between net worth early on is the best thing i've ever seen on this show.
Guest fanofcoils Posted April 16, 2005 Report Posted April 16, 2005 Chris could have been saved. Alex was told to take interior photos and did not except maybe 1. There can be a good case against him that he deliberately caused the team to lose so Chris would be fired knowing that his mistake of not taking interior photos would be less than Chris having lost 7 times in a row. If Chris pointed this out and if Trump believed Alex deliberately caused the team to lose, Alex would be fired. Also if this did happen with Chris and Bren vs Craig, Tana, and Kendra, Magna would probably finally lose a task. I could definitely have seen Chris making it to the final 4 if this happened.
smh810 Posted April 22, 2005 Report Posted April 22, 2005 Holy shit Bren just comitted suicide in the boardroom.
slimm44 Posted April 22, 2005 Report Posted April 22, 2005 Anyone else feel wierd about the whole Alex/Bren relationship. I mean c'mon, they went out to celebrate surviving the boardroom. Then they went on about how they became such great friends. Then they lose, decide to go back out for one final 'dinner' before one of them gets fired. It's wierd. This season just isnt as great as the past two. I guess because I got tired of seeing all the hot girls get fired.
RavishingRickRudo Posted April 22, 2005 Report Posted April 22, 2005 I liked the Bren and Alex Buddyship. Tana and Other Chickie seem to be the front runners to win this thing, but they better watch out for Alex in the boardroom, because I don't think any of them could beat him 1 on 1.
