MikeJordan23 0 Report post Posted January 20, 2005 As a Raider fan I'd do the trade in a second On PTI and I, Max they mentioned this, Vikings get Phillip Buc. and first round pick for Moss.

Brett Favre 0 Report post Posted January 20, 2005 I've heard a John Abraham getting franchised, and along with a pick traded to the Vikings for Randy Moss. Probably not true though.
USC Wuz Robbed! 0 Report post Posted January 20, 2005 I doubt the Vikings would let their star receiver and probably only true draw to their games for an amazingly average cornerback and a first round pick, unless said pick was used on a receiver with less of an attitude as Moss. Vern Gagne 0 Report post Posted January 21, 2005 Red McCombs should fly to Oakland to slap Al Davis, for that horrible trade.

Vern Gagne 0 Report post Posted January 21, 2005 Trade talk is big around here. Moss to Arizona, Baltimore, Oakland, Washington, Miami. A trade involving washington was mentioned. Moss to Washington for Arrington, and a 1st round pick (9th overall)
2GOLD 0 Report post Posted January 21, 2005 Arizona?!?! What the hell?? With Fitz and Boldin?? Dennis Green needs to let go of his Randy Moss belief and work with what he has got. Plus Arrington AND the #1? Wow, that is a lot for a man who I highly doubt will listen to Gibbs. Plus wasn't Oakland interested in grabbing Ricky Williams at first as well? Talk about the combination from hell! Baltimore is the only team on that list that makes sense to me. They need a wide receiver, they had Owens so I doubt they believe he'll be an issue. But what can they offer?

Expect the unexpected with Dennis Green. You mean expect the incredibly stupid? I love Green as a coach but the moves he makes ALWAYS end up ruining him. Take for example this year with his rotating quarterback situation.
Your Paragon of Virtue 0 Report post Posted January 21, 2005 Get rid of Moss and I don't think Culpepper will fare nearly as well, neither will the team. Getting rid of the league's best WR is stupid, regardless of how arrogant he is. Besides, in Carter's last season most of the guys said HIS attitude was the problem, not Randy's. Goes to show you how much they care about him mooning or whatever, and that regardless of what the media says, cockiness and even arrogance doesn't necessarily equal to a bad attitude. Vigo 0 Report post Posted January 21, 2005 Moss would look great in silver and black plus he'll fit in perfectly with the rest of the Raiders. As much as I love them, the Raiders are one fucked up team right now.
Vern Gagne 0 Report post Posted January 21, 2005 Pretty much. He's good at drafting offensive talent, Moss and Culpepper. Defense he passed on Warren Sapp for Derrick Alexander, and drafted Demitrius Underwood with a "bonus pick"

2GOLD 0 Report post Posted January 21, 2005 You can't really blame them for Underwood... no one could expect the dude was going to go crazy all of the sudden. Actually, Underwood fell down the board because of questions about his mental state as they called it. Underwood was another Randy Moss gamble only highly different, Underwood really had issues. Green likes to take risks and sadly they end up biting him in the backside 90% of the time.
Spicy McHaggis 0 Report post Posted January 21, 2005 Would be a good move. Burleson and Robinson are dandy and the team would be w/o the Moss headache.

As much as I love them, the Raiders are one fucked up team right now. Well offensively if we get Moss and a good running back (Lamont Jordan) we should be pretty damn good on that side of the football. We were good towards the end of the season, anyway. It's not like we're Cleveland. Now Defensively...we got a ways to go. First, Kill Sapp.
Paul Stanley 0 Report post Posted January 21, 2005 I think everybody in the state of MN wants Moss to be gone. Our Offensive Co. is going to the Dolphins so i have no idea what the f they are going to do. At least i still have my Texans. (we love our Carr)

Guest The Winter Of My Discontent Report post Posted January 21, 2005 No way the Vikings go for this. Buchanon is an average CB who's play sways from brilliant to atrocious. He'd fit in perfectly with the Viks, but still, stupid trade. And for the Raiders, they don't need anymore morale killers on their roster. Although supposedly they're gonna let CWood walk. Sass 0 Report post Posted January 21, 2005 Yes. I'd like to see Randy in the silver and black. Only if Norv Turner is not the head coach. He's such a tool. No one on that team has any respect for him. Nothing changed with him since his days in Washington and that's demoralizing to a team that can see this. The Raiders need a coach like John Fox or Del Rio. They won't listen to a tool like the pedestrian play-calling Turner. Porter is a play maker and he needs to be treated like one. The Raiders D-coordinator Bob Ryan also leaves a lot to be desired in a coach. The Defense and him are just not clicking. They need a big play LB and I hope they pick up one in the draft. But, that's only if they pick up Randy Moss since Jerry Porter wants to test the FA waters. Randy Moss & Jerry Porter = money. Bumping Kerry Collins down to back-up and picking up someone like Kurt Warner or Brian Griese might be in order. Porter and Moss need a QB who can *bomb* it down field to them (without fucking up the throw like Collins does too often). Drop Gannon, he's done.

Kahran Ramsus 0 Report post Posted January 21, 2005 Robinson impressed me in the playoffs. I actually wish the Raiders were going to try and pick him up instead of Randy. The dude seems like a real asshole to be stuck with. I have no problem with assholes. Lawrence Taylor was one of the best players to ever play football. The problem with Moss is that he is more like Jeff George in that his attitude affects his play on the field. Just look at the Chicago game from last season where he let the corner just take the ball from him in the endzone, and that one play ended up being the difference in their season. He is too much of a loose cannon.
Sass 0 Report post Posted January 21, 2005 LT was an awesome player. Off the field, he was a sleazy bastard. I liked him though. Assholes? Well, the Raiders were *the* team that misfits and team castoffs went to for years after getting the "asshole" tag attached. As long as they bust their ass on the field and aren't a locker room cancer for on-field play then I have no qualms about assholes being on the Raiders. Sebastian Janikowski could fall under the "asshole" tag since he gets arrested for drinking and fighting. But, at least it's a pretty good bet to make that he'll make his FG kick. He carries his end. Randy though, I'm not so sure about on whether he'll give the team his 100% effort and come through in the clutch when there's still a slight chance to come back. Walking off the field before the game ends is a shitty thing to do to your team while everyone else is still out on the field. That's some "i" bullshit being worked into the spelling of team. He's a hell of a player but questionable as a teammate.
Mole 0 Report post Posted January 21, 2005 I, Max they mentioned this, Vikings get Phillip Buc. and first round pick for Moss. I, Max is still on? Damn, I figured that show was gone by now since it sucks. And the Raiders are the only team dumb enough to take him. Watch the Niners take him and trade away their picks. Goes to show you how much they care about him mooning or whatever, and that regardless of what the media says, cockiness and even arrogance doesn't necessarily equal to a bad attitude. On the contrary. Culpepper had a career year with Moss being out for a good 6 weeks or so. He played in I believe 3-4 of those, but just a series or a quarter before taking the rest of the game off. Daunte was doing great with the receivers he had after Moss, Burleson is extremely underrated and has produced big when he has to step in for Moss, and Williams and Campbell are explosive as well. I think this would be a good trade for the Raiders as it would be very difficult defending against the Ronald Curry/Randy Moss/Jerry Porter trio, even better in Arizona with Fitz/Boldin/Moss (and Green, out of any of the coaches, knows how to make the best use of that 3 receiver set), and would be a great fit for Miami (who have major questions with an aging Booker and an injured David Boston coming back) and Baltimore, who haven't had a decent receiver since Brandon Stokley, which is to say pretty much never. Unless you count the week or so Owens had been traded to them. Just PLEASE get Moss out of the NFC North.
