Sass 0 Report post Posted January 22, 2005 Jim Ross was a great announcer until 1999 hit and he had his stroke. It was never the same with him after he suffered his bout with Bells Palsy and seeing his broadcast partner and TV brother ditch him for his jailbait cunt when she left the WWE in 2001. He's an atrocious idiot to try and listen to now unfortunately.
Guest Salacious Crumb Report post Posted January 22, 2005 It's just sad watching old NWA shows and seeing how great he once was.
Slickster 0 Report post Posted January 22, 2005 Well, it's a big day for him, at least. I assume this means he will job/be humilated on RAW, though, as that's the general rule whenever RAW is in OKC.

He said his initials were S...C...S...A... but I didn't hear that, as I thought he said a few different initials...like B..B..Q... So, GOOD OLE JR...let me introduce to you... ...KAAAAAAAAANE~! brokentusk16 0 Report post Posted January 22, 2005 All right JR's yearly hometown humiliation!!! What did they do for this last time? The last bit I remember was the Kiss My Ass Club.
Chazz 0 Report post Posted January 22, 2005 It's not like The Product has given him any reason to be exited over the past 4 years, IMO.
Vanhalen 0 Report post Posted January 22, 2005 IIRC they used "off air footage" of JR and Lawler slagging off Bischoff, and Bischoff booked a match between JR and Lance Storm or JR/Lawler v Storm/Regal, my memorys a bit hazy

jester 0 Report post Posted January 22, 2005 Maybe they'll have a JR appreciation ceremony that's interrupted by Hassan and Davari, thereby continuing their epic feud. And maybe, I will change the channel.
Guest Sturgis Report post Posted January 22, 2005 I think his announcing problem stem from The King. Don't belive me? Listen to his commentary with Tazz at RR 04'. To me it felt like I was listening to Jim Ross instead of Good Ol' J.R.
