NY Giants Please note how many rounds you are willing to do if you drop in the thread, so teams can be reassigned ahead of time if we know when someone is going to drop out after a couple rounds. Also, I think we have enough confirmed for 4 rounds that we should start the last week of this month. So if any of the above unclaimed teams are still open by next Wed., they'll be put up for any poster wanting two teams so we can get the lineup full.
Your Paragon of Virtue Posted March 8, 2005 Report Posted March 8, 2005 Yeah four is good for me too.
Fökai Posted March 9, 2005 Report Posted March 9, 2005 nogoodnick and I can both do 4 rounds (combined this to save a post).
Gert T Posted March 9, 2005 Report Posted March 9, 2005 3 or 4 rounds. If we do four I'll stick around.
therealworldschampion Posted March 10, 2005 Report Posted March 10, 2005 I guess I'll take Tampa Bay for about 3 rounds.
Agent_Bond34 Posted March 11, 2005 Report Posted March 11, 2005 I'll take the Titans, if nobody wants them.
Guest Agent of Oblivion Posted March 11, 2005 Report Posted March 11, 2005 Banky hasn't posted in weeks. Therefore, I'm usurping control of the Bears, and am willing to go 4 rounds.
the pinjockey Posted March 11, 2005 Report Posted March 11, 2005 18 isn't missing. It is Minnesota's second pick and I only put their first pick in there. Same thing with 20 as it is Dallas' second pick.
Dr. Tyler; Captain America Posted March 11, 2005 Report Posted March 11, 2005 I don't know enough about college football to go four, so I'll go two.
Guest Flyboy Posted March 12, 2005 Report Posted March 12, 2005 I think 3 is a good number of rounds to go.
Conspiracy_Victim Posted March 13, 2005 Report Posted March 13, 2005 Well, I'm not up to date on the prospects this year (at least, beyond the first rounders). I'll do my best and go 3 or 4 though if that's the consensus.
the pinjockey Posted March 13, 2005 Report Posted March 13, 2005 I could go for starting it this coming weekend (19th-20th) actually. Looking back through last year's draft, it took 20 days to get through 3 rounds and that was with some people having multiple teams (which were handled by people who were always around making those picks go quick). Plus, I really don't see the need on holding off anymore since we have most of the slots filled. Anyone else have an opinion on when to start up?
Vern Gagne Posted March 13, 2005 Report Posted March 13, 2005 Fine with me. Easter is in 2 weeks, so that might make people unavailable.
Guest Vitamin X Posted March 13, 2005 Report Posted March 13, 2005 Yeah I'm on vacation from March 24th-28th so I'll be unavailable to make picks during that time.
the pinjockey Posted March 14, 2005 Report Posted March 14, 2005 Alright, we will start on Saturday afternoon I guess. The only issue left is trades. Do you want them to be available? My thinking is trading picks from this year is fine, trades involving next year's draft I am open to but I think is silly in case you don't do the draft next year it just fucks over that person if you traded away picks from next year, and trading picks for real players defeats the purpose (coming from experience as I did it last year, it was retarded).
CanadianChris Posted March 14, 2005 Report Posted March 14, 2005 There's no point; it's a fake draft.
the pinjockey Posted March 14, 2005 Report Posted March 14, 2005 The start will be this coming Saturday at 1pm EST.
the pinjockey Posted March 16, 2005 Report Posted March 16, 2005 Two notes: Indy and the Giants are now available if anyone wants to have two teams Also, if anyone else has an opinion on trades, voice them now as that will be decided by the end of today and right now the vote is 1-0 for no trades.
LaParkaMarka Posted March 16, 2005 Report Posted March 16, 2005 Only if the trades are just picks for picks. Eg Miami trading their first rounder for a first and fourth round pick, that kind of thing.
