I think it was set in the modern day, with several people being hunted through a sort of village with booby traps etc. a la Running Man. Notable because I remember it being fairly gory, and a RIDICULOUS scene where the hero disposes of tons of baddies by doing a pommel horse routine. He just sits there swinging around and around while generic ninja after generic ninja stands just close enough to be kicked. Even as a young'n I thought it was gloriously cheesy.

Ah yes, Kurt Thomas' one and only foray into the martial arts action arena.... god what a horrible movie...

I have another one and this is actually a Hong Kong flick that I have been trying to get for years.... its basically its the story of a martial artist who is part of a gang that pillages, and during a raid he gets knocked out in the fight. He wanders to an estate, where he is nursed back to health and has a change of heart, and along with another martial artist, he ends up destroying the gang.

The one giveaway factor is that the gang members all wore gold medallions with black eagles on them.

Can anyone help with that?

ok, what's the name of the one Chuck Norris movie where he's fighting one or two guys against a red backdrop on top of a building? You can only see Chuck and the baddies silloutes (sp?). A friend of mine and myself were trying to figure it out but no go. Anyone know? Thanks in advance...

There are so many horrible 80's martial arts movies, my friends and I are making a movie marathon out of it.

I'll let you know how many people I kill out of angst before sentencing.

That one is "A Force of One" (1979). I remember the scene.

The Octogon is good, gotta love ninjas whenever they show up.

this reminds me of American Ninja, now the closet favorite of many teens from the 80's ... sorta like the Power Rangers were/are to the kids of the 90's. Movies like that make me appreciate Chan even more.
