The whole show was boring and nothing except for the main event had anything memorable. Not even The Kat showning her breast could save this show. The matches were: Tag Team battle royal Evening Gown Match Kurt Angle v. Steve Blackman The Hollys v. Rikishi and Visera Val v. Bulldog v. D'lo- Euro Title X-Pac v. Kane-Cage Match Chris Jericho v. Not the worst WWE PPV ever, but with crap like Kane/Shane and JR/King vs. Coach/Snow, a DEAD crowd for Jericho vs. RVD vs. Christian, a shitty Dudleys/La Res tables match that was worked as a normal tag match 95% of the way, and a decent Orton/HBK match with a lame finish, Test vs. Steiner, and Goldberg beating HHH in a shitty match I felt ripped off when the show was over. Shane/Vince was more entertaining than anything that happened on Armageddon. What were they thinking having Big Show defend his title against Bossman. AnonymousBroccoli 0 Report post Posted January 30, 2005 Backlash '03 was bad enough that it caused the switch from ordering every PPV, to actually thinking about whether the show was worth spending money on. I've only ordered 7 out of 23 since. New Year's Revolution was absolutely terrible. The only reasons I wasn't completely disgruntled afterwards were the Chamber match until Batista's elimination, the bit of fun my brother and friends had, and 24 debuting half an hour later. I was fortunate... or unfortunate, however you like to look at it to have a family member be a wrestling mark as well). And that was it. Vengeance 2004 was pretty weak as well. I remember getting it with a bunch of the guys and they were playing poker instead of watching Benoit/HHH. Brian Pillman defeated Goldust via pinfall to "win possession" of Goldust's wife and manager, Marlena, for 30 days. 2. In a Light Heavyweight Match, Brian Christopher defeated Scott Putski via countout. Christopher nailed Putski with a Pescado (slingshot crossbody plancha) near the end of the match; the landing was akward, and it looked as though Putski's knee was dislocated. Obviously, he could not continue, and BC was awarded the win. 3. Savio Vega defeated Crush and Faarooq in a 'Triple Threat Match'. Vega pinned Crush with a spin kick for the win. 4. In a Mexican Minis Match, Max Mini scored a pinfall victory over El Torito, getting the three count with a Sunset Flip. 5. The Headbangers won a 'Fatal Four-Way Match' over The Legion of Doom (Animal/Hawk), the Godwinns (Henry O./Phineas I. Godwinn), and Davey Boy Smith & Owen Hart, to capture the Tag Team Championship. The Legion of Doom were eliminated via disqualification, the Godwinns via pinfall, and Owen/Smith via pinfall. Mosh got the final three-count over Owen, who got nailed with a 'Stone Cold Stunner' by Steve Austin, behind the ref's back. 6. Bret "Hitman" Hart made The Patriot submit to the 'Sharpshooter'.
