Guest FromBeyondTheGrave Posted February 7, 2005 Report Posted February 7, 2005 As noted earlier in the week, our good friends over at www.RingsideCollectibles.com announced several new action figures being released, including the first Paul London figure and more.
The Amazing Rando Posted February 7, 2005 Report Posted February 7, 2005 Heidenreich looks awesome, and i can't tell if that is Orton or Cena next to Funaki. It *really* looks like Orton, but the hair/shorts has me on the fence.
CanadianChick Posted February 7, 2005 Report Posted February 7, 2005 Who's that beside London? Kidman? Because that's awful.
Lightning Flik Posted February 7, 2005 Report Posted February 7, 2005 London, Kidman, Heidenreich, Taker(...?), Cena, and Funaki. And Funaki's looks pretty lifelike actually. Except him being as tall as Cena.
The Electrifyer Posted February 7, 2005 Report Posted February 7, 2005 Is that supposed to be Heyman beside Heidenreich? I think its safe to his his body is totally wrong.
CanadianChick Posted February 7, 2005 Report Posted February 7, 2005 Actually, London's isn't very good either. He looks alot whiter and a lot older.
Jingus Posted February 7, 2005 Report Posted February 7, 2005 Why are all the action figures cheaper and shittier-looking now than they were 20 years ago?
Guest DeathBecomesYou Posted February 7, 2005 Report Posted February 7, 2005 They look pretty average really, though the Heidenreich one looks pretty cool.
Guest Hass of Pain Posted February 7, 2005 Report Posted February 7, 2005 Look like this set is a Velocity special. Pretty obscure choices for wrestlers but the Cena and Kidman are kind of cool. Figures suck these days, I miss the days of the 1985 rubber figures that were like eight inches tall and weighed five pounds.
Taker666 Posted February 7, 2005 Report Posted February 7, 2005 At first glance, I thought the guy next to Heidenreich was a horrible horrible transition of The Undertaker only because the face looks alot like him. but I guess it is Heyman. I never thought I'd EVER mistake Undertaker for Heyman in anyway, god these dolls sucks!
The Amazing Rando Posted February 7, 2005 Report Posted February 7, 2005 I swear to GOD that Cena has Ortonface. The smirk and everything. It's so bizarre.
LessonInMachismo Posted February 7, 2005 Report Posted February 7, 2005 I picked up the Ted Dibiase Classic Superstars figure the other day. I really like it, but why do they have a pic of the action figure's face instead of the real Teddy? Would they have to pay him some kind of royalty? Also, do all of the Classic figures have pics of the figures' faces? I didn't notice it until I got home.
cawthon777 Posted February 7, 2005 Report Posted February 7, 2005 Speaking of the Classic figures, the next two series look to be pretty good with Monsoon, Heenan, Harley Race, Don Muraco, Superstar Billy Graham, Davey Boy Smith, Jimmy Hart, the Road Warriors, OMG, and Earthquake.
LessonInMachismo Posted February 7, 2005 Report Posted February 7, 2005 Heenan and Gorilla are so mine.
SuperJerk Posted February 7, 2005 Report Posted February 7, 2005 Heidenreich looks awesome, and i can't tell if that is Orton or Cena next to Funaki. It *really* looks like Orton, but the hair/shorts has me on the fence. Definitely Cena. No tattoos.
Jericholic82 Posted February 7, 2005 Report Posted February 7, 2005 thats obviously cena, he has the baggy shorts and sneakers and everything. hoever why does he have those elbow pads? cena doesnt wear that. He usually has on those little word life arm bands or somethin
Guest Phenom Posted February 7, 2005 Report Posted February 7, 2005 Paul London action figure, with real jobbing action!
Gary Floyd Posted February 7, 2005 Report Posted February 7, 2005 Why does Cena look more muscular than Heindenreich? Funaki's looks like Scotty Riggs, IMO
Ced Posted February 8, 2005 Report Posted February 8, 2005 London: Shit, it's a Paul London figure. I can't really fault that. Kidman: Looks like Jerry Lawler. Heidenreich: Pretty damn good representation. Heyman: "Hey, you worked on the Paul Heyman figure, right? You're fired..." Cena: The head is really close to looking like Randy Orton. Funaki: Good representation of his head, but they're too kind with placing it on a Triple H body. I'm most interested in the Funaki and London figures naturally.
