It's MSRP is $2499 (sells online for about $1899) but I can get it for $1499...I don't know a lot about TVs so anyone with knowledge have an opinion?

In terms of HDTV's, buy from Sony, Panasonic, or Samsung. Those are the best ones.

I'd say it's pretty damn good for the price. RCA is a good brand as well. I know this because they had multiple commercials with cute dalmations watching televisions of their brand.

Well I got a Samsung 26" Widescreen HDTV Moniter and I got a HD Digital Cable box hooked into it and it works great, haven't figured out yet houw to get my VCR connected to the cable so I can record though yet. It was $495 at Sam's Club.

that's almost the exact same TV I have except mine is 52"...had it for almost 2 years and no problems...

I'm not big on the giant screen TVs, but it seems to be good enough.
