Guest Trivia247 Posted February 11, 2005 Report Posted February 11, 2005 Rooted for Hogan, didn't mind Warrior, but as a kid its not like you had the smarkish manner back then.
Mr. S£im Citrus Posted February 11, 2005 Report Posted February 11, 2005 This April marks the 15th anniversary of WrestleMania VI and the Ultimate Challenge between Hulk Hogan and The Ultimate Warrior. I was just wondering which side of the match were you on when it first happened. I know everyone here loves the insane promos these 2 gave at the event so I thought this would be a fun little question; who're the Hulkamaniacs and who're the Little Warriors? Well, I wasn't a Hulkamaniac or a "Little Warrior" (I was a month shy of my fifteenth birthday when WMVI happened). In fact, I disliked both wrestlers... but I disliked Warrior slightly less.
Guest LooneyTune Posted February 11, 2005 Report Posted February 11, 2005 That statement pretty much summed up every RAW Main Event in 2003 (For those who forgot, HHH/Steiner, HHH/Nash, HHH/Goldberg dominated the year). A mega case of "I hate this guy, but I hate the other less so I'm cheering for him."
Jericholic82 Posted February 11, 2005 Report Posted February 11, 2005 I wasnt into wrestling at the time (didnt become a fan untill the 90 survivor series) but when I did I liked warrior more than hogan. he was my fav until 92, when Bret became my #1 favorite until HBK surpassed him in late 95 its crazy to think that was 15 years ago already so I guess Im celebrating my 15th year as a pro wrestling fan
Guest Rrrsh Posted February 12, 2005 Report Posted February 12, 2005 As a Canadian, I LOATHED Hogan But I was such a promo guy back in eeh day that Warrior neve conencted with me becuase he on such a diffrent level than me as a kid. I always loved Jake because his promos were SO cool. I was such a Savage mark, so my hatred for Hogan burned more after they split. Actually, untill Bret made it big in 92, I was in limbo as a wrestling fan because everyone who was being pushed I hated.
LessonInMachismo Posted February 13, 2005 Report Posted February 13, 2005 <<As a Canadian, I LOATHED Hogan>> What I never understood was why he wore the colors of the USSR.
Ace309 Posted February 13, 2005 Report Posted February 13, 2005 I'm not going to bullshit you. ::walks out of the thread rather than turn in his smark card::
DCMaximo Posted February 13, 2005 Report Posted February 13, 2005 Warrior- he seemed so much cooler and edgy, whereas I saw Hogan as a bald old man
Guest bigm350 Posted February 13, 2005 Report Posted February 13, 2005 I rooted for Warrior. I've never been a Hulkamaniac.
LessonInMachismo Posted February 13, 2005 Report Posted February 13, 2005 I popped in WM6 last night. I fell asleep half of the way through, but did you hear that pop for Demolition's title win? Despite their weak-looking Decapitation on Haku?

Yea that was quite a pop, funny how 5 months later the demos were ex champs and heels who garnered little reaction and died a slow death(cant believe they lasted till wm7)

WWF booked it all into the ground.

Guest Pariah Posted February 15, 2005 Report Posted February 15, 2005 I was a Hulkamaniac and my brother was a Warrior fan, strangely, I remember watching that match but can't remember watching the rest of the show
jester Posted February 15, 2005 Report Posted February 15, 2005 I've always hated Hogan, so I was all for the Warrior. I hate both of those nimrods now, though.
