Well this has turned ugly. Flik, relax, no one's pissed at you. You don't have to dismantle your team just to placate one person. Cena's Writer has already said he'll give Cartman Wade Miller, and would selecte Brande Backe. That solves the issue.

If you want to step down as Comissioner, that's your choice, and thanks to Harley for picking it up.

Flik, seriously, you should keep Pettite and Halladay, relax, and ignore everyone's complaints. You did everything you could to try to bring people together, and if someone missed out on future MVP Wade Miller, well too bad.

 

Anyone who really wanted a particular player could always just attend the live draft, or have made their offline picks faster in order to avoid the live draft in the first place. I can understand why you're pissed off now, but as soon as the draft is done, things will run a lot more smoothly, and you'll probably start enjoying the league again as long as you don't dismantle your team to placate people.

As a result of the trade with Flik, Cartman will be receiving SP Andy Pettitte and SP Roy Halladay. Because of this trade, Cena's Writer will be keeping(not literally as in keeper) SP Wade Miller on his roster for opening day unless he makes a trade.

 

Now Cartman, if you're still pissed over losing out on Miller...trade for him. If you want to further discuss this topic, do so through PM or an AIM Chat or whatever. However this thread is officially for draft picks as of now so keep it that way okay folks.

I don't know Al, I told him to forget that because it's obviously unfair. I'd rather have just done what CW suggested.

 

But...Halladay is coming back from an injury plagues season and is on the worst team in the AL in my opinion. Pettite is nothing much to be proud of lately either until he proves he can stay healthy and show that he can still pitch outside of being a Yankee.

This is why I don't like keeper leagues. The idea of keepers is fine, but running the draft applet via Yahoo is a million times easier.

 

EDIT: Halladay is easily a stud pitcher, in my view. Halladay for Miller, quite frankly, is overcompensation.

Yes Cartman, Sweeney is available and the whole matter is settled, period. I would've agreed to the 1/1 deal but it's Flik's decision to renege and he won't. Therefore that deal is done.

 

Pettitte is coming off a season ending injury and Halladay came off a season where he only made 21 starts. Both players could be great rewards or just as high risks.

If Halladay was available, I would've taken him with my first pick. There's NO reason to think he won't pitch 200+ innings and notch 175 Ks. Miller is a risk. I just don't see how this deal is anything close to fair.

See but I don't want that Flik. All I wanted was what i asked for before I had to leave the live draft...and CW came up with a suggestion to remedy that. I was being sarcastic on acception that rediculous deal and I don't expect you to do that. I want you to enjoy this league just like everyone else and just throwing two pitchers at me because you're pissed off doesn't solve anything really.

Alright, here's the deal right now. At the moment, I'm asking Flik to stay for the following seasons. In an effort to make everybody satisfied, I'm also requesting that the trade be un-done and that the current setup sees SP Wade Miller go to Cartman and Cena's Writer will take SP Brandon Backe. This way; Al won't be talking about the trade being unfair, Cartman and CW have both said they are cool with the 1 - 1 swap, and Flik gets to have a fucking nice starting rotation.
