MarvinisaLunatic 0 Report post Posted April 18, 2005 Im really concerned the most about 2B. Ty Wigginton has been really disapointing so far and I have Bobby Crosby at SS when he comes back off the DL.

Cuban Linx 0 Report post Posted April 20, 2005 Stupid players going on the DL just after the weekly rosters lock in place. Kris Benson did it to start the season, now Bengie Molina does it leaving me a player down for the week. Not that there's much in terms of free agent catchers laying around, but still. Lightning Flik 0 Report post Posted April 20, 2005 Willing To Move: Swapping a 6th or 7th rounder for next draft with a 8th or 9th Clearing up a misconception. This is not a straight swap for draft picks, but included should someone wish to offer me a really good player. I want one of your pitchers. Then send me a trade you think is fair for the one you want. I'm willing to listen to anything.

Lightning Flik 0 Report post Posted April 22, 2005 Meh... I just thought it might be an idea to do, ya know? Just cause how many of us actually pay attention to that little thingy in Yahoo were you can find out who dealt what. Besides, having a place you know where trades are being updated (not to mention easier to understand), you'll be able to see a person's style for making trades, his stances on what he looks for and stuff like that. I understand. It's just that I don't see myself studying it, and there does not seem to be much value to it. Do people really need to read a list of trades to figure out that I tend to ass-rape my opponents when it comes to trading? As for notification, along with the transaction listing, we are sent an e-mail with each trade.

Lightning Flik 0 Report post Posted April 22, 2005 (edited) Fine al, fine... I'll take it out. Sheesh. Well, except the Wart trade. That had picks and I need to keep those things on record for HQ. On The Block: Anyone of my capabable 3Bs Aaron Boone - 3B Chad Tracy - 1B/3B Jorge Cantu - 2B/3B Jose Valentin - 3B/SS Vinny Castilla - 3B Wanting: Just wanting to see what people offer up Edited April 22, 2005 by Lightning Flik
Styles 0 Report post Posted April 23, 2005 Ok I need pitching. Especially starting pitching and maybe a closer too. Pretty much everyone on my team is up for grabs with the exceptions of Tejada, Kent, Lopez, Mora and Rodrigo Lopez. So I'm dangling Eric Chavez and Richie Sexson out there. If someone would like to do a "salary dump" so to speak, I'm also willing to hear offers for players you're trying to dump for in exchange for taking Sidney Ponson and Brett Tomko. Make me an offer because I'm getting crushed this week and it's making me nervous enough to consider releasing a Steinbrenner like letter...
Cuban Linx 0 Report post Posted April 23, 2005 My pitching staff is going to drive me nuts by the end of the season, everyone keeps bouncing from shit to outstanding and back to shit again. Weaver goes back and forth between shutouts and getting nuked for 8 runs in 2 innings, Vasquez stinks until i bench him where he proceeds to throw 7 scoreless innings, Ryan Drese is winning but looking extremely shaky in the process, El Duque had two good games with a shit one in between, Pedro Astacio & Mark Redman have been strong but neither inspire me with confidence to keep that going all season, i expected my pitching to be suspect but with my offence looking neutered to start the season it's all the more apparant. razazteca 0 Report post Posted April 24, 2005 Damn, rain made my team miss a few games this week giving Evil~!Al the easy win.....and I had a near perfect games pitching wise too! When my Aces of Pavano & Kenny F'N Rogers out pitch Randy Johnson & Johan Santana, I was expecting a winning week but NOOOOOOOO it had to rain in Detroit post poning the weekend games. When my Aces of Pavano & Kenny F'N Rogers out pitch Randy Johnson & Johan Santana, I was expecting a winning week but NOOOOOOOO it had to rain in Detroit post poning the weekend games. The way Torii Hunter was playing, would you really want those games to be played. 7 runs scored, 1 home run, 4 RBIs, SIX stolen bases, and a .435 OBP make Hunter an easy pick for fantasy player of the week. MarvinisaLunatic 0 Report post Posted April 25, 2005 If Im gonna do anything in this league, it looks like its going to be primarily because of my pitching staff. I've finally wised up and taken Cabrera off my starters to the bench. My top 3 SP are probably the best of any team and Im trying to make moves to find a combo for the last 2 SP that works. My offense has been sputtering along but nothing like I was hoping.
Styles 0 Report post Posted April 25, 2005 Cuban, respond to my trade offer!
iggymcfly 0 Report post Posted April 25, 2005 Yeah, my pitchers are great as far as the actual pitching goes. Oliver Perez is my only starter with an ERA over 5.00, and Clemens has only given up one run in 28 innings. I still can't get wins though, as Clemens only has one win in those four starts, and my other starters have combined for three on the season. I guess the run support my starters are getting in real life is just mimicking the run support they'd get on my team, because I haven't been getting shit for hitting. I'm finally going to have bench Griffey this week, as he's batting .200 with 0 HRs and 3 RBI. Really Glaus and Reyes are the only players I have that have been doing shit batting-wise. HarleyQuinn 0 Report post Posted April 25, 2005 My offense explodes, my pitching remains solid and I win the week going 7-0-3. I also manage to absolutely vault to 12th place thanks to the wonders that are ties.

Lightning Flik 0 Report post Posted April 25, 2005 And somehow, I go from a 6-2-2 on Saturday to a 4-5-1 on Sunday. God dammit... I'm nearly ready to give up here. I seriously can only get the batters right, the pitching... ugh...
