Another downside to the weekly format is in the event of an injury, what happens then? Say Garcia gets injured on thursday, I wouldn't be able to change my lineup and switch out the injured player would I?

No. But again, this is just like if it happens during a game. And I repeat this will be up for debate during the draft.

If you want it just like a game, then wouldn't it make sense to be able to put a new player in if somebody gets hurt?

But its really not a big deal to me whether its daily or weekly.

Just figured that maybe the other people missed it as well.

I'm still missing 2 people from the league. You've got Thursday until Midnight to contact me. Otherwise bravesfan and one other get to be in the league.

Please note that during the draft (date TBA) will have some concerns that will need addressing:

1) Weekly or Daily Rosters

2) Waiver Draft during off-season

3) Anything else

Draft should happen sometime from this Friday (February 26th) to next Sunday (March 6th).

Also, let's all try to take Al down this year, m'kay?

OK, I'm registered. For the record, I was against weekly roster updates until I got used to it last year, but in the long term, it's actually better. Otherwise, people just stop taking care of their team by the end of the year, and there's only about four teams really putting in the effort to have a chance at the championship.

Ok, I've gotten everyone then who was here last year and the three new teams.

And we've also go bravesfan sitting in the cold, bitter, lonely outside and would like to join the league. This would mean expanding the league by two teams. What say you guys?

Well I understand why you want to change to weekly rosters, but I think that takes away the manager's influence and replaces it with lots of luck that your lineup wuill stay intact everyday during that week. Not to mention it takes away from the everyday interest aspect as well. I like to switch out players due to certain pitching matchups or playing in certain parks against certain teams etc.

Now also, you said there are only going to be 2 bench spots? That's pretty bad as well. No flexibility at all, just my opinion.

You do the same thing here, except in advance. Its easy to matchup players day-by-day, but much more interesting when you do it weekly. Besides, this eliminates players exploiting the lack of maximums.

I agree with this. 3-5 bench slots are more desireable.

What Al just said is the main reason why its currently as it is. However, again this can change depending on the discussion we have during the draft.

Fine... Again, if people believe this is the way it should be during discussion during the draft, I'll change this.

Oh, and no one had any objections, I take it, its alright to add two more teams to the league? Need to know quickly.

Also, draft will be this Saturday if that's ok with everyone. 6pm PST/9pm EST. Should take about 3-4 hours, like last years draft.

Draft sounds cool to me, I should be on by then. I also agree that 3-5 bench spots is more favorable, especially considering my luck in the NBA league(where I had 3-4 injured guys at once).

If the two teams' owners are already known, then I say more the merrier.
