HarleyQuinn Posted May 2, 2005 Report Posted May 2, 2005 I don't know what it is with myself and ties. I swear, I always wind up having the most ties at the end of the season as seen in the NBA H2H and I currently have 8 in this league. Ironically, despite losing 4-3 I managed to move up from 12th to 11th...
Lightning Flik Posted May 2, 2005 Author Report Posted May 2, 2005 I actually managed to not fall from 16th down, so that's a success, I guess... However, I'm still 16th overall and looking ever more gloomy for me to make a charge at the Pack or Elite... v_v
razazteca Posted May 2, 2005 Report Posted May 2, 2005 Guess what....Juan Rincon got busted for being on DA JUICE. So that means that he will be out for 2 weeks.
Lightning Flik Posted May 2, 2005 Author Report Posted May 2, 2005 ...aw shit no. Your kidding me. *checks* ...I just... erk... FUCK YOU RINCON~! Stupid fucking team. I hate them all. I mean, Valentin died off, Bonds is on my bench. ...I seriously stand by the fact that Jason Marquis is the only good player on my team. *sigh* This just isn't my year with TSM fantasy stuff. Dammit, I'm having more success with my other team in a league that just started two weeks ago. Hell, I've got a trade of Jose Vidro and Jon Lieber for Bobby Abreu (which I'm awfully tempted to take).
razazteca Posted May 2, 2005 Report Posted May 2, 2005 There is only one thing you can do now......drop everybody and pick up Denny Bautista, Joaquin Benoit, and Tomko.
Lightning Flik Posted May 2, 2005 Author Report Posted May 2, 2005 Haha, yeah right. I've got a decent enough team that I can make a decent recovery for next season. And if you want to trade Thome, you better be willing to lower his demanding price. Thome for Edmonds? No way. I want collateral for Thome's bad back before I commit to that trade.
razazteca Posted May 2, 2005 Report Posted May 2, 2005 Then he will sit on my DL bench for the rest of the season...
Brett Favre Posted May 2, 2005 Report Posted May 2, 2005 Damn. I offered Sean Casey. Better than keeping him on your DL bench.
razazteca Posted May 3, 2005 Report Posted May 3, 2005 Don't need another slow start player...I need some power hitters not on the juice. As it is right now my offense is being carried by Brian Roberts with some inconsistent help from the Tigers & Cubs players.
treble Posted May 3, 2005 Report Posted May 3, 2005 Hey, we can un-do that Chacin/Park trade, since I accidently hit 'accept' instead of 'reject' because I'm an 'idiot'.
HarleyQuinn Posted May 3, 2005 Report Posted May 3, 2005 Undo the trade but bloody hell people...LOOK before ya sodding click.
EVIL~! alkeiper Posted May 3, 2005 Report Posted May 3, 2005 I would offer Carlos Pena, Austin Kearns, or Joe Blanton for Thome.
Lightning Flik Posted May 3, 2005 Author Report Posted May 3, 2005 Trades were switched to auto pass becuase HQ's allowing anything to be passed (unless its something like this situation) and told me to do so. Also, if you can't press the right button, you should get screwed over. I'm sorry, but I don't feel any pity for someone who fucks up on not taking the time to make sure they are over the right button to click it up. I mean instead of hastily pressing a button, maybe take like I don't know a few minutes? Might save you the trouble of this. ...you are so lucky you guys don't have me in charge right now.
HarleyQuinn Posted May 3, 2005 Report Posted May 3, 2005 This is the third time I think that it's happened? If ya fuck up after this....tough...shit. It's not that hard to take even one bloody minute to look at the screen, move the mouse (unless ya have the one click touch pad then I'd advise that you be really careful), and make sure you're over the right button first. Wankers.
treble Posted May 3, 2005 Report Posted May 3, 2005 I did look at the screen, took the time to write up a sentence about why I wasn't going to make the trade, and accidently clicked on the wrong button. And the buttons are pretty close to one another, so it's an easy mistake to make.
EVIL~! alkeiper Posted May 3, 2005 Report Posted May 3, 2005 Why did we change that anyway? Wouldn't it be easier to have the commish approve/reject trades?
razazteca Posted May 3, 2005 Report Posted May 3, 2005 If you want Chacin back its going to cost you another player.
Lightning Flik Posted May 3, 2005 Author Report Posted May 3, 2005 Why did we change that anyway? Wouldn't it be easier to have the commish approve/reject trades? Because for some fucked up reason I like to call "Yahoo hates Flik", instead of it being Commish, its set up as League (even though I set the damn thing up as Commish). So it won't work that way. As for why it isn't league, HQ has the reason for that. If you want Chacin back its going to cost you another player. You were compensated for having to deal with that. Sorry about it Raza.
treble Posted May 3, 2005 Report Posted May 3, 2005 Yeah, thanks guys. Sorry for fucking everything up.
Lightning Flik Posted May 3, 2005 Author Report Posted May 3, 2005 Well, I'm happy... I got at least a good two starts out of Carpenter and Pettite, my offense actually showed up on day one, and I look to be doing not half bad today after yesterday. Hopefully my Crimson Cardinals can keep it up.
Stephen Joseph Posted May 3, 2005 Report Posted May 3, 2005 I'd just say that I think its nice for Treble to have written up a reason why he rejected. Most people don't And on that note, in trades so far. Delgado's been a bust. I'm looking forward to having F. Cordero.
Cartman Posted May 3, 2005 Report Posted May 3, 2005 Yea right... Why are you guys fawning over my players?!
razazteca Posted May 3, 2005 Report Posted May 3, 2005 You know you want to accept my trade offer(s).
Lightning Flik Posted May 3, 2005 Author Report Posted May 3, 2005 BTW, Cartman, its kinda funny you suggested me a trade when I just suggested one to you. Funny how that worked out.
razazteca Posted May 3, 2005 Report Posted May 3, 2005 This is just great. I have three 1st basemen and none of them feel like playing! Thome is having withdrawl from roids, Young has the flu, and Millar is worried about job security.
