No, because that was just an exception where two people went out in one night. In normal circumstances, only the Ulong member would have been voted out and Willard would still be there. We'd just have one extra person still in the game.

It's the shittiest Survivor I've ever seen. The only thing that can save it now is if Stephenie somehow manages to win it all. underdogs = ratings

Coby = worst schemer in survivor history

I thought he was relatively safe before this episode, but he just did everything wrong that could possibly be done wrong. Pissed people off, first to quit during the immunity challenge, made it blatantly obvious that he was planning something.

btw, my favourite lines (paraphrasing here):

Ian: I'd take my clothes off for some chocolate and peanut butter

Jeff: I don't think ANYONE wants to see that

Nice reference to Survivor: Amazon there, although I'd have to agree with Jeff. Now, had Steph and Jen took their clothes off, I'd be all for it...

I couldn't agree more ... it's like he thought he was immune to anyone wanting to vote him off (no immunity reward entendre meant) and thus he could blatantly try to align with Steph without any repurcussions.

And I don't get how anyone would risk getting eliminated just for doughnuts, cookies or pizza. You can buy many doughnuts, cookies or pizza with a million dollars.

At least he had the good grace to take it like a man.

Methinks it's not the first time that Coby's taking it from a man ... oh, you said LIKE a man. My bad.

Ok it's official, Steph kicks all the ass there is to kick.

I know it's easy to play armchair quarterback, but the first thing I thought of when Greg tried to convince Tom & Ian to vote off Stephenie was ...

If they really wanted to vote off stiff competition, they'd vote off Greg next. Besides being comparable to Steph in terms of physical skills, he also has that girlfriend of his to vote with him each & every time. Vote Greg off and you not only eliminate a strong competitor, you also break up a dangerous alliance.

But, no, the two of them just stupidly agree to vote off Steph. Even though I have Tom in a Survivor pool (and in a side-bet with my gf) I'm kind of looking forward to him potentially getting voted off next week.

Voting off Greg wouldn't have been smart. The men were already outnumbered. Getting rid of Greg would have made it 5 to 2 (Tom & Ian). It wouldn't have been long before the women (lead by a pissed off Jenn) got together and said "gee, let's get rid of the 2 remaining physical threats".

True. Plus, there's a Final Five alliance there, and as long as Tom and Ian retain Katie for that they'd be OK. Also bear in mind that while they are aware of the Greg-Jen alliance, they didn't know about their plan to drag Janu and Caryn to the Final Four.

Of course, all of this is now shot to hell and I wouldn't be surprised to see Greg go next week.

The only problem I see with an all-female alliance is that they need all four women to do it, and it would be political suicide for Jenn to jump on board. Her ship is with Gregg. She wants Gregg to carry her into the final two and hope that he alienated enough people so that she can take the vote, ala Rob & Amber. Regardless of what happens her and Gregg's best bet now is to go with Tom & Ian. Gregg was right about one thing though. He should have gotten Stephenie out last week, and then go with Coby & Caryn who are less of a threat than Ian or Tom. But now he has no choice.

btw it's good to see at least one person plotting and scheming to the point where they've got some outs if Plan A doesn't work. Of course, like I said before, Greg's Plan A got shot to hell, so I'd assume that he started working on a new plan (which pretty much HAS to include Steph) once Janu quit.

You know, if I wasn't rooting for Steph to win, I'd be rooting for Greg.

If Tom & Ian had voted off Gregg, and kept Steph, an "all-women's alliance" wouldn't be necessary. It'd be Tom, Ian, Steph & Katie vs. Jenn, Janu & Caryn. The next three tribal councils would eliminate the latter three, and leave the original 4-some to compete against each other.

I really don't see how Steph & Katie could be talked into abandoning their alliance with Tom & Ian, especially for Jenn, who they haven't had any allegiance to at all.

Business is about to pick up.

Damn staight... This is starting to get real interesting, especially with the preview for next week with Stephanie plotting against Tom!

My favourite part of the episode was Stephanie just absolutely ripping into Janu (and sort of the rest of Koror) because she wanted to quit and saying exactly what I wanted to say... Don't go on Survivor if you don't at least try to go all the way!

I hate all these fucking twits that get voted off and say "I achieved what I wanted to achieve here on the island" What bullshit is that? If you go on Survivor, you have to go balls and all and gun for the million bucks, fuck this "achieve" bullshit.

I'm bummed that Steph got eliminated ... I dug her aesthetically and was rooting for her to win.

But having said that, I have a bet with my girlfriend and I have Tom winning it all ... so to have one of the people that was spearheading his getting voted off get voted off helps my chance of winning.

Of course, it looks like my boy might be getting the boot next week, so it's just delaying the inevitable.
