dpac 0 Report post Posted March 1, 2005 Ok I received a burned copy of Adobe Photoshop CS, I have it uploaded on my comp but everytime it loads a window asking me to activate it comes up, it says that this activation protects Adobe from illegal distribution. I do not want the person I received this from to get in trouble from thier work. I figured there would be some comp buffs on here who could lead me in the right direction. Thanks to those who can help.
Guest guerillagenius Report post Posted March 1, 2005 Does it ask for a serial number or anything?

Jobber of the Week 0 Report post Posted March 1, 2005 Like Microsoft did with WindowsXP, Adobe has put an online key authorization on Photoshop.
dpac 0 Report post Posted March 1, 2005 Then choose to not register, and make sure to check "Never ask me again". There is not that option, so my question is it safe to do the online key authorization, or will it even work with it being a burned copy.
Guest The Gecko Report post Posted March 1, 2005 When I installed my burned copy, I read somewhere that if you set your computer clock a year or 2 back, then it will work fine. It did for me... so you can try that.
Guest Razor Roman Report post Posted March 8, 2005 you need to activate it on line, or find a crack to let you bypass the online activation. Which is of course, illegal.
AndrewTS 0 Report post Posted April 30, 2007 I assume no one here has a solution for this? A friend obtained such a version of CS2...which he can't use because of the authorization thing. Anybody find a workaround?
Ripper 0 Report post Posted April 30, 2007 Its been answered by razor. And its illegal and bad. Especially if you choose to activate by phone and enter the activation code that you get from the keygen that should have come with the copy. Wrong and illegal. Yeah, using that Adobe CS2 keygen is just plain WRONG. You should be ashamed honestly.

tominator89 0 Report post Posted April 30, 2007 Adobe should be ashamed for charging $500+ for their software.
Ravenbomb 0 Report post Posted May 1, 2007 $500+? I got a package of 9 Adobe programs (including Photoshop CS2) plus Flash for $2,000, so that's like $200 per program
