The Czech Republic Posted March 14, 2005 Report Posted March 14, 2005 I have a better idea. Let's scan our brackets once we fill them in.
Damaramu Posted March 14, 2005 Report Posted March 14, 2005 My bracket is out of left field. But my Final Four is: Oklahoma State vs. Wake Forest AND Kansas vs. Syracuse. And my National Title game is..........*drum roll*...........OKLAHOMA STATE OVER SYRACUSE.
Boon Posted March 14, 2005 Report Posted March 14, 2005 Arizona over Gonzaga Duke over UConn Duke over Arizona (75-68)
Damaramu Posted March 14, 2005 Report Posted March 14, 2005 Duke? Duke isn't coming within sniffing distance of the National Title.
Guest Posted March 14, 2005 Report Posted March 14, 2005 Gonzaga over Arizona UNC over Syracuse UNC over Gonzaga 85-77 Sounds about right.
Guest Posted March 14, 2005 Report Posted March 14, 2005 Too bad I saw Utah State last night in person and they won't hold Arizona's jock.
Damaramu Posted March 14, 2005 Report Posted March 14, 2005 Nah. I have Arizona taking Utah State but losing to LSU. I also have Texas Tech shocking Gonzaga. Oh and just for Igg I have Wazzu taking out GT in the Sweet 16.
Kurt Angle Mark Posted March 14, 2005 Report Posted March 14, 2005 Final Four: North Carolina over Syracuse Washington over Oklahoma St. Championship: Washington over North Carolina
smh810 Posted March 14, 2005 Report Posted March 14, 2005 I'll back up and start from my sweet 16.. Chicago: Illinois beats Pennsylvania OSU beats LSU Illinois beats Ok.St Albequerque. Louisville beats Washington Wake Forest beats Texas Tech Louisville beats Wake Syracuse Florida beats North Carolina Kansas beats UConn Kansas beats Florida Austin Syracuse beats Duke Oklahoma beats Kentucky Syracuse beats Oklahoma Final Four Illinois beats Louisville Kansas beats Syracuse Illinois beats Kansas
therealworldschampion Posted March 14, 2005 Report Posted March 14, 2005 Illinois over Louisville UNC over Syracuse UNC over Illinois
Matt Young Posted March 14, 2005 Report Posted March 14, 2005 I'm sad that I can't see an Illinois-Wake title game. They've been my favorite teams since I started watching. I haven't watched much college ball this year, but here are my picks for the Final Four from my ESPN.com brackets for the Cheap Ass Gamer forums league. I plan on making 4 alternate brackets (5 is the max) for improved chances of winning. Illinois over Wake Forest North Carolina over Syracuse Illinois over North Carolina
Guest Shadow Posted March 14, 2005 Report Posted March 14, 2005 I've looked around and such and WAY too many people are going with the Illinois/UNC final. how often is the consensusly picked national title game ever the actual national title game?
alfdogg Posted March 14, 2005 Report Posted March 14, 2005 Illinois, Wake, UNC, Duke Championship: UNC over Illinois
CanadianChris Posted March 14, 2005 Report Posted March 14, 2005 Illinois over Gonzaga Syracuse over UConn Illinois over Syracuse 70-66
Crimson Platypus Posted March 14, 2005 Report Posted March 14, 2005 Illinois, Wake, UNC, Duke Championship: UNC over Illinois I agree with this here.. Gonzaga CanadianChris?? I haven't seen them play this year so that seems to be from way out in left field to me.
Guest Agent of Oblivion Posted March 14, 2005 Report Posted March 14, 2005 I hate college basketball but I love to gamble, so I've got Illinois over Georgia Tech, Kentucky beating UNC, Illinois beating Ky. I came in second place on my dad's work pool last year, netting me fifty bucks, all without watching a single game of the season or playoffs.
Guest Flyboy Posted March 14, 2005 Report Posted March 14, 2005 Kentucky will lose to Eastern Kentucky. You fuckers just WATCH.
CanadianChris Posted March 14, 2005 Report Posted March 14, 2005 Illinois, Wake, UNC, Duke Championship: UNC over Illinois I agree with this here.. Gonzaga CanadianChris?? I haven't seen them play this year so that seems to be from way out in left field to me. Hey, why am I being singled out? I was the third one in this thread to pick them!! Seriously, though, they're in an absolutely perfect bracket for them. Washington is the weakest #1 to come around in a long time (I actually have them going out to Pacific in the second round), Wake Forest can't defend well enough to stop them, and Louisville, while good, has inferior talent.
Guest Agent of Oblivion Posted March 14, 2005 Report Posted March 14, 2005 Kentucky will lose to Eastern Kentucky. You fuckers just WATCH. That's more like a Kansas maneuver. Kentucky's generally pretty stout come playoff time.

Kentucky's generally pretty stout come playoff time. They are both highly overrated, but I have a feeling about Kentucky choking just like they did last year.
smh810 Posted March 14, 2005 Report Posted March 14, 2005 Louisville, while good, has inferior talent. As compared to GONZAGA??? If you've seen Louisville play you wouldnt be saying that.
CanadianChris Posted March 14, 2005 Report Posted March 14, 2005 Louisville, while good, has inferior talent. As compared to GONZAGA??? If you've seen Louisville play you wouldnt be saying that. Have you seen Gonzaga play?
CanadianChris Posted March 14, 2005 Report Posted March 14, 2005 Have you seen Louisville play? I've seen each team twice.
smh810 Posted March 14, 2005 Report Posted March 14, 2005 Fair enough then, but as someone whos also seen both teams play I think Louisville could easily go to the final 4 while Gonzaga may be ripe for the pickings in the 1st round.

They're good enough to bet that on, I guess.
