Downhome Posted October 30, 2005 Report Posted October 30, 2005 I'm not seeing a list of the actual moments though, just the films included. I'm watching it on TV right now, but I only started watching it at #30.
UseTheSledgehammerUh Posted October 30, 2005 Report Posted October 30, 2005 I thought the countdown was awesome, and showed a lot of gore, especially when they showed DEMONS (!!!!!!!!!) at like 54 or something, and showed the guy's neck getting ripped open. Good job Bravo. Put over Evil Dead really well too, while being a little low, BTW.
haVoc Posted October 30, 2005 Report Posted October 30, 2005 28. When a Stranger Calls The first 15 minutes of that film is great. The rest is forgettable.
reign Posted October 31, 2005 Report Posted October 31, 2005 I really think that Bravo should release this on DVD now(it's in its second year) becasue I freakin love this countdown...it has all the necessary ingriedents..comedy,stars,directors,ROMERO...I've been watching it for like 3 days now but I've yet to watch the entire countdown straight through...
chaosrage Posted October 31, 2005 Report Posted October 31, 2005 What good horror movies are coming on tonight? I just did a search for the original Halloween and found nothing. How can Halloween not be coming on any channel today?
Special K Posted October 31, 2005 Report Posted October 31, 2005 I like this list in general, I think Psycho is way overrated though. Hitchcock's made much scarier movies (though Bates is just a great character) The Birds is quite a bit more disturbing than Psycho, IMO.
chaosrage Posted October 31, 2005 Report Posted October 31, 2005 I actually thought Psycho 2 was scarier. Because you had absolutely no idea what was going on. Unlike the first Psycho, where you just assumed that his mother was killing everyone, the second didn't give you a clue of who was doing it. You didn't know which one of the characters was good and which one was a crazy murderer. Then you also have Norman going insane throughout the movie, wondering if he was one that did it or not and arguing with his dead mother on the phone about whether he should start killing again. One of the most underrated horror movies.
Toshiaki Koala Posted October 31, 2005 Report Posted October 31, 2005 The Conversation should be on there for sure. I was literally afraid to take a shit after watching it.
Failed Bridge Posted October 31, 2005 Report Posted October 31, 2005 Right, so which moment was it from Jaws? it had kids afraid to sit on the toilet. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> So did Look Who's Talking Too
