spman 0 Report post Posted March 31, 2005 PWInsider always has a pretty up to date event schedule with on sale dates annoucned well in advance, but still no info on One Night Stand. Will tickets even go on sale for this in a normal fashion? Hammerstein can only hold about 3700 people, and thats without any kind of fancy setup WWE might use. Not counting tickets that'll be held back for comps and promotional use, that leaves maybe 2000 tickets available for the general public. So how do you think WWE will make these tickets available? The usual Ticketmaster method? Only available to the first 2000 fans who walk in? Any other ideas?

2GOLD 0 Report post Posted March 31, 2005 They should do it like ECW did. You call, wait three hours, order a ticket, wait four weeks for the ticket that never arrives, call back and get a confused woman who informs you she'll just leave a note at the arena with a hand written ticket. If we want the authetic ECW feel, this is exactly how ordering the tickets should go. None of that fancy printed tickets crap. Give me a hand written ECW ticket with black magic marker indicating where I'm supposed to sit.
tominator89 0 Report post Posted March 31, 2005 What I really wonder about a show like this is what kinda storylines are written for a one night only show? Will it be like the Pillman Memorial Show or Raw is Owen were the performers say how much they miss ECW? I think the show will sell out and people will be interested in seeing what happens. I just don't understand how they plan on going about this.
Guest Salacious Crumb Report post Posted March 31, 2005 The show also has to start about an hour late for the real ECW experience as well.
Toshiaki Koala 0 Report post Posted March 31, 2005 The real question is, Will the management be handing out Sharpie markers? If not, there's simply no way this can compete with the Douglas show.
MillenniumMan831 0 Report post Posted March 31, 2005 I went to a show in 1999ish w/ floor seats in Row F. Being 5'6", I wasn't too thrilled but whatever. So, we get there, have a security dude escort us to our seats which just so happens to be the front row. F for Front Row, I guess. ECW's incompetencies worked for me. 2GOLD 0 Report post Posted March 31, 2005 The show also has to start about an hour late for the real ECW experience as well. And there needs to be a big breasted woman in the crowd so the crowd can chant at her until she shows her goodies. Plus for this to really work, Buh Buh has to pick a fight with someone in the crowd and inform them he had sexual relations with their mother and/or father just hours ago. Without these things, it's just not ECW.

Guest Shadow Report post Posted March 31, 2005 I thought it was gonna happen at Madison Square Garden? Why in the blue hell would you assume that? ECW was never big enough for MSG and it wouldn't sell MSG now. Did you just assume that MSG is the only NYC venue or something? It's been set for Hammerstein ballroom from the begining. LessonInMachismo 0 Report post Posted April 1, 2005 Okay, are we talking about the skinny kid who acts like a weedhead? Sometimes he was a few rows back? And he always pointed to the sky? And you could see him elbow the person next to him to get their attention and then point to the ring when they were already looking at it?
