The Czech Republic 0 Report post Posted April 13, 2005 Yeah, at what point do you stop being an African-American and just be an American.

Vern Gagne 0 Report post Posted April 13, 2005 Does anyone know how many Black African-American baseball players are on major league rosters?
DerangedHermit 0 Report post Posted April 13, 2005 Let's just call them all brown people. Â Albert Pujols could be one of the next omega-stars like Barry. And even though they're Mets, I think Jose Reyes or David Wright will blossom into stars, too.
Guest Shadow Report post Posted April 13, 2005 why hasnt anyone mentioned Adam Dunn? If you want a white superstar, there you go. the man hits 45-50 homers a year. Â he's a great guy, clearly roid free.
nogoodnick 0 Report post Posted April 13, 2005 It almost seems baseball players dont have the marketable personalities of athletes from other sports. Shaq, TO, and Lebron are everywhere. Shit, even Tom Brady hits up Victoria Secret parties. When NBA and NFL players party we hear about it. They're in movies and reality tv shows. MLB needs to expose their players beter to the public. They're kinda boring.
UZI Suicide 0 Report post Posted April 13, 2005 Those are flashy guys though. I mean, MLB players are just different. Nobody really cares what party Curt Schilling attended over the weekend, or what Holywood starlet Hank Blalock was mingling with at the club on Friday, or what kind of rims Ben Sheets just got on his new ride. The only player on that level of mainstream "popularity" is Derek Jeter, but he's hated by too many baseball fans.
Guest TheLastBoyscout Report post Posted April 13, 2005 This is easy. GODZILLA, man. I hate the Yankees and even I love him.

MLB needs hip-hop artist like Usher and Lil Jon to be wearing throwback David Justice jerseys along with Braves caps, or have Eminem start wearing Alan Trammel jerseys, or Nelly wearing Jim Edmonds jerseys.
