GARDEN PARTY

APRIL 21, 2005

The SmackDown! Championship Series will continue when SmackDown! visits Madison Square Garden in New York City this week.

Booker T faces Big Show with the winner advancing to a Triple Threat Match with Kurt Angle and JBL in the United Kingdom.

Also, the WWE Champion himself will be in action as John Cena faces United States Champion Orlando Jordan in a Champion vs. Champion match.

And Carlito's Cabana is back, this week Carlito's guest is Eddie Guerrero.

And will we hear from Johnny Nitro and Joey Mercury again, one week after they crashed Carlito’s Cabana and laid out Mysterio?

Don’t miss SmackDown! on UPN (8/7 CT).

Booker T Vs Big Show > Triple H Vs JR

Interesting... Cena vs. Jordan says "Champion vs. Champion"... that technically isn't "Title for Title." I'll still tape tonight, since I want to see MNM vs. Eddie/Rey.

I can't wait. I'm predicting this will be the second third straight hot SD since Cena's become the "Ace".

Maybe it's a coincidence? Smackdown was entertaining during the tail end of 2004 as well, when Cena was off the show.

Well, obviously it's not JUST Cena. It's the writers booking good matchesd with Angle, Eddie, Rey, and JBL. It's a more focused product than I can remember in quite sometime.

Think about it, when was the last time two lower midcarders had a feud like London and Chavo have now?

Top to bottom, SD is the best rasslin on TV.

I wouldn't say top to bottom, but lately Smackdown has been about 100x better than it was from last May through September, when it was unwatachable.

How cool would it have been if they'd announced the draft the week after WM, and then held it at Monday's MSG tapings?

I'm even enjoying Carlito's delivery tonight. Can't wait to see MNM in the ring.

EDIT: LISTEN TO THAT REY POP.

First ever match? Do they not realize he was on the Smackdown roster for an entire 3 months before, and was on 2 PPV's?

Edit: 40 seconds into the gimmick, and I already fucking hate it.

Wow. I can't believe that they're really killing Morgan like this. He's got charisma underlying this garbage, but the stuttering is just killing it.

"Champion vs. Champion" phrase is dropped, which means "it's non-title between a champion and another champion."

Matt Morgan is channeling Summer 2003 Kane?

So that is the Melina everyone has been singing the praises and calling her super hot? Color me unimpressed. She no longer looks like a dude but she doesn't look like anything special either.

She had nice hair...that's it.

JBL still carrying around the real World Title? Oh well... I like him better than Cena, so he's still my World Champ.
