Of course he has to draw the cheap heel heat by saying he is better than they are, but, that's just part of being a good heel. Say what you want about his ringwork, or his backstage antics, JBL knows how to put over an opponent and tell a story on the mic and sometimes even in the ring. HHH should be watching. I also like how they let JBL keep the real title belt as he looked naked without it. JBL has done alot for SD since he was made the champion, at the expense of himself he got a number of challengers over and even members of his own cabinet, well, Orlando Jordan anyway. I like how JBL is still a "feared" boss but he doesn't take it overboard like HHH. I'm telling you, JBL is THE BEST HEEL in the company. No one is doing it better. Team Angle Pusher 0 Report post Posted April 22, 2005 SmackDown was really great tonight. JBL and Angle on comentary was fucking GOLD. they were great together on the Mic. Carlito's Cabana was another fun segment. It was great hearing "carlito" chants out there, hes truly one of the best on SD!, I'am still questioning rather the Eddie heel turn is a good idea. we'll just see where it goes from here. hes still one of my fav on SD!. I don't know what the say about Matt Morgan's new studder gimick. just see where it goes from here. he looks less generic than he use to look. that finishing move he pulled off was fucking tight though. they actually used the ECW DVD theme for his theme music. heh Eddie/Rey Vs MNM was a awesome Tag Match. I'am not surprised that MNM are new Tag Champions sence the the titles had to come off Eddie and Rey soon. did I mention that MNM's gimick is fucking awesome? Big Show/Booker Vs JBL/Angle was a fun Tag match. the fatal-4-way match next week is going to be one awesome match. I'am looking forward to that!. I hope the Cabinet doesn't split soon. they're one of the best thing on SmackDown plus, they're the only faction in the WWE right now. So I guess Heidenreich is a complete face now? can't believe people are actually cheering for him. not that I don't mind. just werid. he still has kick-ass theme music. Cena Vs OJ was a good match. but you could tell there was alot of editing during that match, like when Cena did the bulldog. good match overall though. overall, another awesome SmackDown!, and with the fatal-4-way next week, the rise of MNM, the Eddie/Rey storyline, Cena's continue popularity as champion, JBL just being JBL, and absolutly NONTHING of a Dive search sighting. things can only get better for the SmackDown! Brand. I just hope The Undertaker shows up soon to really complete this show. What you are saying is all good but...Undertaker won't "complete" the show, I actually like him gone. See, I think JBL (despite being a crap in ring wrestler) gets one thing about being a heel that HHH doesn't: You have to put over your opponent. See, HHH does his best to trash his opponent, to make the viewer think the guy sucks. Thing is, if he beats down a guy that's a bum, who cares? Kahran Ramsus 0 Report post Posted April 22, 2005 JBL is hardly a crap worker. He has had really good matches with Eddy Guerrero & Kurt Angle last year. He got shafted at Wrestlemania by having his match cut short so I don't blame him or Cena for that one. He's not an elite worker, but he's decent. I certainly wouldn't call him crap in the ring. That's guys like Heidenreich & Tomko. JBL is a lot better those guys. The Kurt/Angle bickering also brings up another argument for why I think Smackdown is better than RAW. On Smackdown, wrestlers are essentially out for themselves, unless they are in a team or faction, and even then there is tension. On RAW, it seems like every face gets along with every other face and every heel gets along with every other heel with the exception of Edge. And usually if two faces are fighting with each other, one ends up turning heel. When it is every man for himself it looks more realistic and it gives you more booking options. You really WANT a re-make of the Bradshaw Hardcore Title? Technically he'd have to use Stamboli's version since he's a New Yorker now. He could still put horns on it, though.
