Jingus 0 Report post Posted April 30, 2005 Punk would be good as his ROH/indy persona and not a lackey like last time, but he has a bad rep from the Hart fight. Which Punk started, let's not forget. Rock 'N' Roll Express Vader Nikita Koloff Road Warrior Animal Mabel Ahmed Johnson Vampiro Sledgehammer, are you aware that TNA already has used every single name on that list except for Ahmed Johnson (and who really wants to see him)? No matter who TNA brings in, they've proven time and time again that they just can't keep anyone over except for their core group of a few select guys. Wasn't Sabu the one who broke it up as well? Also Jingus, I think Sledge was trying to be OMG HUGHMORRUS with his list, by picking guys that he thinks TNA should have never brought in. That's my guess.
AboveAverage484 0 Report post Posted May 1, 2005 A lot of guys mentioned have either been here before, or are indy flavor of the month people. Not taking away the talents of most, as I enjoy pretty much everyone mentioned, but there are other people I'd rather see in TNA at the moment than Kevin Steen or Hotstuff Hernandez (who had one of the more unremarkable runs in TNA history as JJ's Elite Guard, wearing a faggy beret and jogging around ringside before being dropped with no explanation). O'Haire I'm a huge mark for and would love to see him come in, but he seems content with MMA right now. Kanyon I'm honestly surprised hasn't shown up yet, and to the person suggesting EZ Money, last I heard he was retiring from the business. Tedd and Low Ki are horrible to deal with because they're both huge marks for themselves. Awesome didn't do too well in his New Church run. Punk would be good as his ROH/indy persona and not a lackey like last time, but he has a bad rep from the Hart fight. Spanky can make more doing indies and Japan, so TNA didn't want him under contract if he wouldn't commit full time. The Noble reason has already been explained, although I honestly can't see him back in WWE anytime. Yeah, O'Haire has stated that he is pretty much done with wrestling. Guest Salacious Crumb Report post Posted May 4, 2005 Is that shoot? Cuz i know thats his new gimmick in ROH. They based his current gimmick off of how he acts in real life. He's been a pain to deal with for well over a year now.
Dobbs 3K 0 Report post Posted May 4, 2005 You might as well just say "every ROH guy" since that is most of the people being listed. There really aren't that many guys TNA could bring in at this point who would bring anything to the table not already being done by their current guys. These aren't the days of the Monday night wars where guys could bounce back and forth and stay over by changing feds. They really need to focus on elevating people they already have. There's no one out there they could really bring in and have draw money, other than someone they couldn't afford like Steve Austin (who's doing stuff with WWE again anyway) or Goldberg. Carnival 0 Report post Posted May 5, 2005 They need Tag Teams that can actually wrestle. They also need more credible main eventers. easier said than done though.

Spaceman Spiff 0 Report post Posted May 6, 2005 Kanyon I'm honestly surprised hasn't shown up yet, I'm not 100% sure, but I think Kanyon retired, too.
Garth 0 Report post Posted May 6, 2005 They should bring back D'Lo, I really enjoyed his initial run with the company. I would like them to bring Nigel McGuiness in as well, I feel he'd be good in the X-Divison as a different style of X Division wrestler.
