Box Office Report

The movie will do okay but I don't think it's going to be a big blockbuster hit.

Well, I didn't say blockbuster. It'll have a big opening weekend, and in the end will become a profit for 20th Century Fox.

You say they aren't "Draws" but when you put the two of them together, I really don't see how you can say this movie will fail. Hell, all of ads i've seen for it heavily promote Vince Vaughn as the comic relief, so he'll most likely bring in his fanbase as well. Two good looking stars in a big budget summer action film? As I said, I really can't see this being a B.O letdown.

You started a box office report thread after only one day

I simply saw a report on another site, thinking it was the box office report, and I posted it.

On a Saturday. How could they know the weekend box office on Saturday?

It was 10:36 PM on a Saturday night. It was almost Sunday. The report usually comes out on Sunday, but I thought that that was the official report and it was coming out early. Calling me a moron because I made an honest mistake was uncalled for.

The next Hillary Duff movie looks like a winner to me and might make more money than Freaky Friday.

Yea, Perfect Man looks pretty awesome. It has MR. BIG!~ and Mike O'Malley.

I just hope it can do what ACS did at the box office, since after Raise Your Voice, she needs a hit.

And it's Hilary with one 'l'. Not two.

Every CGI movie and how well they did:

Robots - $125,614,860

The Polar Express - $162,753,127

The Incredibles - $261,437,578

Shark Tale - $161,412,000

Shrek 2 - $436,721,703

Finding Nemo - $339,714,367

Ice Age - $176,387,405

Monsters Inc - $255,870,172

Shrek - $267,652,016

Dinosaur - $137,748,063

Toy Story 2 - $245,823,397

A Bug's Life - $162,798,565

Antz - $90,757,863

I'm pretty sure Final Fantasy: The Spirits Within bombed in comparison to its budget.
