It's going to be a face, (to play off of heel Jericho on the Highlight reel), and it's going to be a big name.

I say it's either RVD or Undertaker.

For those of you with questions about the format of the draft, here's what's been announced thus far:

For the next four Raw shows (starting tonight) and the next four SmackDowns, the lottery will take place with one pick unveiled each night.  On the fourth week of each show, TWO picks will be announced.  This means that a total of 10 wrestlers (5 from Raw, 5 from SD) will be drafted.

Also during the lottery month, the GMs are free to trade wrestlers between shows.

Ohh okay, thanks.

I like how they are doing it over the next four shows. It makes the viewer turn in everyweek to see who goes where.

This is the first Raw in a LONG ASS TIME where I want to watch the show. The past year or so, I'll tune into it just to check out what is going on. But this week I'll actually turn to it at 9 and watch most of the show. Well, atleast until they do the draft.

No one's brought up the aspect of trading yet.

It'll be interesting to see which wrestlers the company thinks (or wants the fans to think) are worth more.

The trading aspect could also add to the storylines. Christian wants to go to SD so he can face Cena for the WWE title. If he's not drafted, we can see him approaching Bischoff every week asking to be traded. Also, if that happens, Christian doesn't have to be separated from Tomko. They could go over as a package deal.

Wouldn't it had been better if WWE had used the contract signing between Dave and Hunter to ensure that the match would happen regardless of the draft? As a way to throw in a "Will HHH or Batista be drafted?" like scenario. However, the contract signing would ensure that the match will happen regardless of where either man is.

The logic that WWE adopted for it kind of "exposes" the draft a bit, seeing as we know that neither HHH and Batista will be drafted.

They haven't even announced WHEN the match would occur either.

The graphic on RAW last week said "Vengeance" so it's been officially announced.

This is just careless booking and it totally spoils the draft. It takes away the "anything can happen" feeling when the top two stars on RAW are basically eliminated from the draft.

Just a quick observation. If the GM's can make trades during this month, doesnt it eliminate the purpose of a draft? Are only those drafted, eligible for trades, or can the gm's freely trade out any wrestlers they want?

I live in St. Louis and I heard a little thing on the radio regarding Fozzy. There is supposed to a RAW party at Pop's, followed by Fozzy afterwards. I'm guessing the paper has 8pm b/c that's when the RAW party would start here.

Meltzer said that Sandman and The Dudleys should be their as part of an angle to hype their match at the PPV.

There's a Dudleyz promo on the WWE website for the ECW PPV. It was even filmed the way some of the promos for ECW were filmed.

Bubba Ray: At One Night Stand, there's only one way out of New York City. *lights match* Through the tables. *sets table on fire*

D'Von: OH TESTIFY!!!!!

I could see them doing what they did at Mind Games in 96 and have Sandman be in the crowd.
