Guest Askewniverse Posted June 12, 2005 Report Posted June 12, 2005 Anybody else get the feeling that we'll get an ECW Title Match tonight?
Dimensions Posted June 12, 2005 Report Posted June 12, 2005 When does the webcast start working? <{POST_SNAPBACK}> At 8.
Guest Brian Posted June 12, 2005 Report Posted June 12, 2005 Here's a thought I just had: It looks like they went back with the ECW style ropes for this event... How many people used to the WWE style ropes will have a hard time re-adjusting to those ropes. ...what the hell? Someone brought an Ultimate Warrior throw-rug to the ECW event? <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Like I said in the other thread, this show has "blown spot" potential written all over if the workers come in underprepared for the rope and size issues. Especially given that some are going to try and play to the crowd ::spots::
Guest NewYorkFox Posted June 12, 2005 Report Posted June 12, 2005 It sounds like that even just here at TSM, more people are ordering the PPV than usual. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Maybe, but people on TSM and other wrestling boards are pretty much the target demographic for this PPV. If they couldn't get smarks watching, then you worry.
Angles Broken Fricken Neck Posted June 12, 2005 Report Posted June 12, 2005 Anybody else get the feeling that we'll get an ECW Title Match tonight? <{POST_SNAPBACK}> yes, because if they have any plans of bringing ecw back they need to get it off rhino
Superfly Snuka Posted June 12, 2005 Report Posted June 12, 2005 First wretling pay per view I 've ever watched/paif for legally....it's worth it
Nightfall Posted June 12, 2005 Report Posted June 12, 2005 I don't see them having too many problems with this ring. In the indys, I'm sure they had to deal with 10 different types of rings.
Guest JMA Posted June 12, 2005 Report Posted June 12, 2005 I have to wonder if Jericho and Benoit will be billed from Canada or America tonight.
Conspiracy_Victim Posted June 12, 2005 Report Posted June 12, 2005 OK..DVR is recording, show has been confirmed as ordered finally, pizza's in the microwave, beer's in the fridge, and computer is on smartmarks....I think I'm ready for the show.
MarvinisaLunatic Posted June 12, 2005 Report Posted June 12, 2005 I could see RVD vs Rhyno. What better person to put the ECW on to start things up than RVD?
Nightfall Posted June 12, 2005 Report Posted June 12, 2005 RVD's leg is still hurt, I doubt he could work a match.
Superfly Snuka Posted June 12, 2005 Report Posted June 12, 2005 You have to think lawler will show up..and if not, i have to think they are going to have another ECW event in the not too distant future since Lawler was the biggest adversary of ECW when they invaded last time in 1997
Conspiracy_Victim Posted June 12, 2005 Report Posted June 12, 2005 Tazz doesn't look like he's kept himself in ring shape, has he?
Downhome Posted June 12, 2005 Report Posted June 12, 2005 I could see RVD vs Rhyno. What better person to put the ECW on to start things up than RVD? <{POST_SNAPBACK}> It would be very fitting, for more than one reason.
MarvinisaLunatic Posted June 12, 2005 Report Posted June 12, 2005 RVD's leg is still hurt, I doubt he could work a match. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> I bet he could under the circumstances.
Guest NewYorkFox Posted June 12, 2005 Report Posted June 12, 2005 I could see RVD vs Rhyno. What better person to put the ECW on to start things up than RVD? <{POST_SNAPBACK}> I don't think so, but I really don't know who else they'd put the belt on. Although Benoit would probably be their choice.
Guest Brian Posted June 13, 2005 Report Posted June 13, 2005 I don't see them having too many problems with this ring. In the indys, I'm sure they had to deal with 10 different types of rings. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> We're talking about WWE workers, who are supposedly told to go out of their way to make these things extra special, take extra risks, etc., in a ring they are probably not comfortable in. It's a risk. And it's one I'm assuming Vince isn't taking; he's probably not letting 'em take the kiddy gloves off.
Cuban Linx Posted June 13, 2005 Report Posted June 13, 2005 I'd think given his history with ECW that Lawler would probably show up with the Raw 'invaders'.
Downhome Posted June 13, 2005 Report Posted June 13, 2005 Holy God, this really does look like an ECW show!!!
DMann2003 Posted June 13, 2005 Report Posted June 13, 2005 OK..DVR is recording, show has been confirmed as ordered finally, pizza's in the microwave, beer's in the fridge, and computer is on smartmarks....I think I'm ready for the show. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Exact same here, 'cept for the beer OH MY GOD!!!!!
Conspiracy_Victim Posted June 13, 2005 Report Posted June 13, 2005 Here comes Joey to start us off. I'm going to miss not getting, "Well, well, well...." to start us off.
MarvinisaLunatic Posted June 13, 2005 Report Posted June 13, 2005 Well this ought to be interesting..
Conspiracy_Victim Posted June 13, 2005 Report Posted June 13, 2005 And Joey's gonna cry 3 minutes in.
Dimensions Posted June 13, 2005 Report Posted June 13, 2005 It's damn good to hear Joey's voice again.
Downhome Posted June 13, 2005 Report Posted June 13, 2005 Here comes Foley with a Cactus Jack shirt on.
